What is the size of any upfront deposit required?
Usually we ask for any third party charges in advance.
If you are using a solicitor or the invoice is being settled by the estate of the deceased person or life insurance please let us know.
When must I pay the upfront deposit?
48 hours before the funeral takes place.
How long will I have to pay the final balance?
30 days from the invoice being raised.
Will any additional charges apply is I don’t pay the bill on time?
In the event of us appointing a collection company our terms and conditions allow them to add their charges to the bill.
If I change my mind after engaging you as my funeral director, will you charge me (and if so, how much)?
We will only charge you if we have started work and ordered any products such as a Coffin or funeral stationery.
If we have collected the deceased person we will ask for a transfer fee.
If you choose to move to another funeral director we will help to make the transition as smooth as possible.
