Sympathetic and caring service giving great confidence and comfort to our family during a difficult time. Jan at AH Rogers responded to our various queries and requests with empathy and professional courtesy. A first class result with everything coming together smoothly on the day.

Jan, of West End branch handled mums funeral in a sensitive, caring way. Jan was extremely helpful and ensured we had everything that mum would have loved. The day went smoothly and was more than we hoped. We are so glad we decided to go with Rogers the dignity and respect shown to mum and us was very humbling. It was a lovely touch to be contacted today by Jan to ensure all went well and if we needed anything else to pop in anytime. Thank you so much.

Mum had a remarkably long life (96 years) and we had had fair warning that the end was coming, but it was still a big emotional shock when it actually came to pass.So it was very reassuring to find ourselves in the hands of true professionals. The care and patient guidance provided by Jan Dodd during the planning soon put us at our ease, and of course it was Jan who listened to our thoughts and preferences and then put us in touch with Celebrant Charlie Keene, an outstanding choice! Then on the day of the Service, the calming, thoughtful support of Funeral Director Charlie and her team were just first class from beginning to end.

I wanted to use a local funeral director and, having read the reviews, I felt confident that AH Rogers in West End would be the right choice, and contacted the branch by email while my husband was in the hospice nearing end of life. I received a lovely reply from Jan who put me at ease and assured me that everything could be arranged as and when the time came. Well, the time for the passing came and, soon after, I met with Jan to talk through everything. She was always very friendly and helpful and wanted to ensure that my husband’s send off would be just how we wanted it to be or, at least, as much as possible during the pandemic restrictions. I feel confident that he was well looked after from the moment he was picked up from the hospice, to the day he arrived in style at the crematorium for his final farewell. Thank you Jan, David and the rest of the team for making his last journey compassionate and dignified, and fun. Yes, fun! Although it was a very sad occasion, and we were obviously mourning our loss, we were able to celebrate his life with joy on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Thanks again for helping me turn the darkness into light for a very special man. I hope this review inspires other people to turn to you for the support, advice and help they need at this very difficult time.
