A H Rogers and Sons Funeral Directors was founded in 1881.
Our dedicated teams at our Eastleigh, Hedge End, Shirley and West End funeral homes are committed to creating tailored funerals that reflect the unique life of your loved one.
We can be contacted 24 hours a day, by telephone, and are here to discuss your needs. Or if you prefer, we can visit your home to discuss funeral arrangements
"She also sadly did the funeral for my ex mother in law 18 months ago and again went above and beyond for us, which is why I knew she had to do Jason's funeral. She made a horrible situation into something memorable for all the right reasons."
— Joanne Wood (about Helen)
"Helen also went out of her way to visit our home to collect Andrew's funeral suit and deliver his ashes back to us. We have visited Helen a couple of times after the funeral and are immediately recognised and always warmly welcomed. Even after the funeral Helen continues to offer support for the family."
— Thomas Webb (about Helen)
"Helen immediately sensed our family dynamic, she really got our humour for which we will always be grateful as it made such a difficult time so much easier to deal with. Despite our never-ending calls nothing was ever too much trouble and they led us through the process amazingly."
— Martyn White (about Helen)
"From the warmth, compassion and genuine interest in my Aunty shown by Katie at our first meeting, we knew she was in good hands. Unfortunately I have had a bit too much experience of arranging funerals for loved ones and I can honestly say you will not be disappointed at all using A H Rogers."
— Nikki Twine (about Katie)
"Rachel showed such kindness after the passing of my mum, she took a weight off my shoulders. Tim showed such empathy and gentleness when my mum was taken to the Chapel of Rest, and Helen the Funeral Director gave me so much comfort on the day. The support given to me was overwhelming and I shall never forget the fantastic send off we gave to my mum, we truly did her proud."
— Jude Taylor (about Rachel, Tim, Helen)
"The care and understanding during the incredibly tragic and emotional shock of suddenly losing my daughter at a very early age, they showed incredible sensitivity and support, above and beyond simply providing a funeral service. More than that, during the extended period of dealing with the varied arrangements, they became family. Katie especially is a warm, caring, loving person who made this terrible time more bearable. She is a treasure."
— Nicholas Hughes (about Katie)

We contacted AH Rogers in Eastleigh for help and guidance. From our very first phone call, Helen was sympathetic, kind, caring and helped us to arrange everything perfectly. She guided us wonderfully and everything from the flowers to the actual service was exactly how we wished it to be.

Absolutely brilliant service, from start to finish. Rachel showed such kindness after the passing of my mum, she took a weight off my shoulders by dealing and taking care of organising the administrative side of things including flowers, and a wonderful dove release. The Order of Service booklets were beautiful and really captured my mums love of flowers. Tim showed such empathy and gentleness when my mum was taken to the Chapel of Rest, and Helen the Funeral Director gave me so much comfort on the day, guiding me, and making sure I had the opportunity to decide on how the day of the funeral went. The support given to me was overwhelming and I shall never forget the fantastic send off we gave to my mum, we truly did her proud. Thank you all.

I Highly recommend A H Rogers & Sons Eastleigh. I lost My Farther Dennis suddenly in early March 2026 and although I didn't to originally plan to use their services, from the very first Phone call with Katie I felt completely confident and happy that i would be dealing with caring attentive and professional people in person i would not just be a customer number. Katie was Amazing always available either by phone, email or in person, no sales pitch, no pressure to make decisons, she made the whole process easy and stress free for us and provided us with fantastic celebrant. Helen on the day was great she made sure my mother and everyone was ok and produced and wonderful service as commented by everyone who attended. Im so grateful to everyone at a&h this review cant really portray it enough but to anyone who reads this and needs a funeral directors please you wont regret entrusting them with your loved one Luke Botting .

I really don’t know where to start with this review, 5 stars just doesn’t seem enough for the service we received and the amazing care the team gave my Aunty during her stay with them. From the first meeting with Katie we knew she was in good hands, the warmth, compassion and genuine interest in my Aunty shown by Katie was so comforting at a difficult time. The service was arranged beautifully and Katie went above and beyond in helping to add those extra special touches. Neil, Helen and the team took exceptional care of my Aunty and the funeral was truly beautiful she would have loved it. Please don’t hesitate to trust your loved one to the care of A H Rogers you can be assured they will be so well cared for and treated with such dignity and compassion, exactly what you would want for someone you love. Unfortunately I have had a bit too much experience of arranging funerals for loved ones in the last couple of years and I can honestly say from my experience you will not be disappointed at all using A H Rogers.

I cannot recommend AH Rogers highly enough. The care and understanding during the incredibly tragic and emotional shock of suddenly losing my daughter at a very early age, they showed incredible sensitivity and support, above and beyond simply providing a funeral service. More than that, during the extended period of dealing with the varied arrangements, they became family. I must individually thank and recognise Katie, Helen, and Neil. I will be eternally in their debt, and Katie especially is a warm, caring, loving person who made this terrible time more bearable. She is a treasure. Thank you all for becoming part of our family Nick Hughes
