Alderson and Horan Funeral Services is a family-run business established in 2004 by brothers-in-law Stephen Alderson and John Horan, who together bring more than 40 years of experience in all aspects of the funeral industry. Having previously worked together at a local funeral company that was later taken over by a larger corporation, they set out to create a business centred on the personal, warm, and heartfelt service they believe every family deserves. The Rossendale office is located at 810 Burnley Road, Crawshawbooth, and can be reached on 01706 830294.
The business has grown steadily since its founding, with a dedicated team that includes direct and extended family members, reflecting the deep family values at the heart of everything they do. Alderson and Horan offer a comprehensive range of funeral services, including attended and unattended funerals, pre-paid funeral plans, repatriation, Victorian horse-drawn carriage, hearse and limousine hire, floral tributes, and aftercare support including headstones, memorials, and urns. They are members of both NAFD and SAIF, demonstrating their commitment to professional standards.
