From the very first telephone contact I felt confident that I had made the right choice in B Matthews. Despite the difficulties of coronavirus lockdown, Sarah showed us kindness and understanding whilst remaining professional at all times, and we were given the time we needed to organise our personal requirements. The care and dignity of the funeral itself, under the thoughtful organisation of Charlie, was much appreciated by the close family members allowed to attend. If anyone is unsure about their options of funeral directors, I would highly recommend B Matthews.

Sarah was very understanding as well as comforting when the sad funeral of our dear mother , Myrtle , had to be arranged , which was obviously made worst by the pandemic and government restrictions .The funeral cortege was conducted expertly and after that very sad day Sarah called a little while afterwards to expression her condolences and ask if there were any other matters that she could attend to .Should the need arise we would use Sara and Matthews again .

Sarah and all staff at Mathews, involved with the funeral of my late husband Derek Gale, were at all times professional, completely sensitive to our family wishes for the day and above all really helpful. A difficult day was made so much better by their total efficiency and kindness. Every aspect from start to finish could not have gone any better. Thank you
