There was s complex set of circumstances involved with this service. Still, considering this, I feel they mishandled the situation taking no account of my partner's wishes to visit her late father in the chapel of rest. Surly attitude from office staff and those present on the day, would not & could not recommend this branch. Very disappointed with an event you very obviously are unable to repeat.

I think my letter of thanks below to Great Baddow Co-Op Funeral Directors, sums up the high esteem I hold them in! I went to this company after first meeting with another local family funeral firm. The experiences at each couldn't have been more different and I am so very glad, that our gut instinct to not accept the casualness of treatment at the first company, led us to here instead!Dear Mandy,On behalf of my mother and from me, we would just like to thank you and the team, very much indeed for making what could have been a very difficult day, a very lovely day instead!I lost count of the number of those who attended the service who told us both it was one of the nicest services they had ever attended! It was personal, it was meaningful, it was uplifting, it was all about Dad! Chris didn't pretend to know Dad but was happy to share what he had learned about him from my mum and I. The photographs were such a hit with many requests to send them separately so they could be looked at again. It was a service which allowed people to laugh and to cry. I think my Dad would have enjoyed it - and actually that is what you want to feel, when you have lost someone so special! Please pass on our thanks to the funeral car team also and for their sensitivity guiding my son when he bore his grandfather's coffin into the chapel. From the moment mum and I entered your funeral home, the day after Dad had passed away, we were met with such warmth by you and we knew immediately that you were the right company to look after such a very important event in our lives.Thank you!Lynn
