Barringtons is a privately owned family business. After working in the funeral industry for many years and following the loss of our own mums within six months of each other, we realised the need to lighten the experience for other families and provide a truly personal service.
With our natural warmth and empathy, your family will be looked after as though they are our own.

Heartfelt thanks to Nikki for all her support in arranging my dear husband's funeral in June. From the moment Nikki visited me she instantly put me at ease and guided me through every detail with kindness and compassion. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she kept in regular contact with me and offered the most amazing support at such a distressing and difficult time for us as a family.I can't thank Barrington's enough for making the whole experience more bearable and for the their genuine care and compassion.I would not hesitate to use their services again in the future and cannot recommend them highly enough.Thank you so very much for everything xxx

I cannot thank Lisa and Nikki enough for all their help with my Nan’s funeral. You made a truly difficult and emotional time so much easier to bear, and the whole journey wouldn’t have been the same without all your help and support.Everything, from taking her into your care with dignity and respect, holding our hands throughput the arrangements, and guiding us through all the possible options in your lovely and light office, allowed us as a family to create the perfect send off for her.Your compassion and attention to detail is second to none. You really did look after her, and us, as if we were family, and that means everything to us. We wouldn’t have wanted her to be looked after by anyone else.

I could not recommend Nikki and Lisa enough! They were so kind and supportive throughout the process. They went the extra mile to make things easier for us as a family and took so much stress away from the arrangement process witht thier support and expertise. With their help we created a beautiful service for our mum, from flowers, celebrant, order of service and memorial page, everything was planned and created with such care. Thank you for making such a difficult time so much more manageable.

I am so grateful to Nikki, Lisa and all the team at Barringtons for helping us through such a difficult time. They really are amazing and it is evident that they are totally dedicated to doing the very best they can to support families in every way possible. They organised everything with such efficiency and really worked hard to ensure that Mum's funeral was just as we had hoped it would be. Everything, both before and after the funeral, was done with sensitivity and incredible kindness. I highly recommend these lovely ladies and can't thank them enough.

On behalf of all the family I just wanted to say thank you for organising my wife's funeral last week. Professional throughout, but above all considerate and kind, Lisa guided me through the potentially difficult decisions step by step. With thanks to Nikki as well for designing the Order of Service which looked excellent. The day of the funeral went very smoothly with the Barringtons team very attentive and supportive. My beautiful wife was given the send off that she would have wanted. Thank you Lisa and Nikki.
