Barringtons is a family business owned by David and Claire Barrington. We support the families we work with to arrange a funeral service that is a true reflection of the person who has died. We will spend time with you to establish what you would like and how we can make it happen. We don't like to say no to requests and will try and be creative to incorporate any special requests.

As an ex funeral director myself of 10 years in Australia. I needed to use a funeral director for my dad who passed away early April 2024. I called around three local funeral directors, and then called Debbie from the Bootle branch. Once I put the phone down, I said to my mum, "that's the one". Debbie was the only funeral director who told me everything I needed to know without me asking one question. She explained everything in a very professional way and her caring, warm nature shone bright through the phone. There was no upselling, she listened to what we required and what my dad required, and delivered a great service with kindness and compassion and seriously went that extra mile. Thank you Debbie for everything, you are a lovely person for the positionyou hold. My mum definitely said she will organise her funeral with you.

Cannot praise Barringtons enough for their professional and caring service. Everything we needed was arranged perfectly and nothing was too much trouble. A special mention must be made of Debbie at the Netherton branch who was a real support for our whole family, communicating fully with us every step of the way and going above and beyond to meet our specific needs - she is a real credit to the company. We would not hesitate to recommend Barringtons.

During a difficult time, Debbie at Barringtons Independent Funeral Service provided outstanding support from start to finish. The church service at Our Lady Walsingham was handled with utmost care and sensitivity. The chapel of rest was a peaceful and comforting space, allowing as many visits as needed. Communication with Debbie was prompt and consistent, which made the whole process more manageable. Her compassionate approach and attention to detail truly eased our grieving hearts. We are grateful for her exceptional service during this difficult time. From Williams and Family 🤍🕊️🤍
