Bedwardine Funeral Services is an independent funeral director established in 1991, based on the west side of Worcester. Operating from a beautifully converted 17th century Coach House at 30 Bromyard Road in St Johns, the business offers ample parking and full disabled facilities, serving families throughout the city and surrounding villages including Martley, Holt, Ombersley, Droitwich, Pershore, Upton upon Severn, Malvern, and Kempsey.
With a strong emphasis on serving the local community, Bedwardine Funeral Services has built a reputation for care, dignity, and personal attention over more than three decades. Rob has been a central part of the team since 1994, working alongside Funeral Directors Laura and Joy, and Front of House Holy, to provide a consistent and compassionate service. Families are assured of the same dedicated person guiding them from the initial arrangement through to the day of the funeral.
The company provides individually tailored funeral services, whether a simple cremation or a full burial, handling everything from newspaper announcements to floral tributes. They operate a modern and traditional hearse and limousine fleet and maintain a disabled-friendly viewing chapel on site. Bedwardine Funeral Services is part of Beverley Funerals Limited.

The Bedwardine are absolutely amazing. Russell looked after my Grandad when he passed away in 2021 and has just done the same for my Nan (August 2024) Nan had always specifically requested that she wanted Russell to look after her too and he did exactly that. What can I say? The most amazing and genuine service from a wonderful small company of funeral directors. Nothing was too much and the cost of everything was extremely reasonable. Special thanks to Rob. An instantly likeable and warm gentleman who understood and anticipated every feeling and need and went way beyond anything that could be reasonably expected, and this goes for every member of the team. It's easy to feel cynical as goes a lot of companies these days, but the presiding feeling you get with Bedwardine is that service to the bereaved and their family and profound dignity are the most important standards to them. I did my research before going with Bedwardine, and would implore families of the bereaved local to Worcester to look no further. I have never been more impressed.
