How long will I have to pay the final balance?
Accounts are due for payment within 30 days of our invoice. The funeral account invoice shall be raised a week after the provision of the service. The account is due regardless of any application for a DWP Funeral Grant, subject to probate or the deceased estate being handled by a Solicitor or Third Party, unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.
What are my options for paying the deposit and final balance?
Cash, Debit/Credit card, Cheque or BACS payment.
Will any additional charges apply is I don’t pay the bill on time?
If you fail to pay us in full on the due date, we may charge you interest;
• At a rate of 2% per month or part month on the outstanding account balance.
• Compounded on the first day of each month; and
• Before and after any judgment (unless a court orders otherwise).
If I change my mind after engaging you as my funeral director, will you charge me (and if so, how much)?
You will be invoiced for all third-party charges which we have paid or are committed to. You will also have to pay our charges and expenses according to the scale set out;
Within 2 days of service – 100% of fees payable
Within 1 week of service – 80% of fees payable
Within 2 weeks of service – 100% of fees payable
Funeral Fleet cancellation fee, as stated on price list.
