D Hollowell and Sons Limited

This is the third time I have used Hollowell and Sons Funeral Directors and as was the case previously the service has been second to none. This time we had Tim-Parker-Simms and from meeting Tim at the Lytham Road office to the day of the funeral nothing has been too much trouble and he has been helpful in every way. Tim helped with the music, ordered the flowers and put the Obituary in the paper for us. The celebrant Martin Bryant was fabulous and made a lovely service with the very limited information we knew about this relative who has worked under the National Secrets Act. We received positive comments about the service from attendees about the funeral, the flowers and I can honestly say I wouldn’t use any other Funeral Director in Blackpool. Sadly my Mothers funeral was out of town and conducted by the Co-op which was far more expensive, very impersonal and not in the same league of the three funerals Hollowells have conducted for family members and the services of friends I have attended.

From the second we picked up the phone to Hollowell & Sons the night my father passed away, we cannot fault one of them in the slightest. Kind, caring and an all round warmth about their behaviour as we had to tread softly as an entire family. Our funeral director Anthony, a man we could not have asked more from! He felt apart of the family as soon as he shook our hands the following day. To sum up with using too many more words. If you lose a loved one, there is no better caring set of people about D Hollowell & Sons to guide and support your family through a hard time.

Hollowell’s looked after my Nan and did an exceptional job.All the staff we encountered were polite and friendly and made us feel at ease during such a sad time.We can’t thank you enough.

Jon Brady is the most wonderful person to have by your side throughout this very upsetting process. Nothing was too difficult for him. His manner is just right . Professional, yet friendly and caring.His attention to detail is spot on.The same goes for everyone else at Hollowells. Especially Helen xThanks all of you

Rachel conducted the funeral for my step dad last week, she was so kind and thoughtful throughout. Nothing was too much trouble from the beautiful order of service with so many personal touches, through to the magnificent floral arrangement she obtained for us. It was also a really lovely touch to have the memory box given to us after the service with the pictures of him she had printed and extra orders of service to keep or pass on to people who had been unable to attend. Both he and my whole family were treated with dignity and compassion throughout and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
