We are a funeral director in dedicated to helping your family when in need. For more information please contact us.
"He also researched and found a family grave and prepared the paperwork ahead of the legalities to enable a burial of the ashes to take place as per the family's wishes. I never really thought that reviewing a funeral parlour would be a thing but was so impressed I have been moved to do so."
— Emily Hall (about Ian)
"It's been a very distressing time for our family but with their little touches and their kindness — I know where I'd want to be looked after when I go. No one wants to go through this but if you are, I would very much recommend the lovely team at Dallingers."
— Katherine Rostron (about Matt & Ian)
"They held my hand the whole way in organising my Mum's funeral. They took time and care to understand us and our needs and they pulled off the event seamlessly. Ian is a dapper gent and he helped us say goodbye to Mum with finesse and flair right down to the waxed moustache and cane."
— Lesley Phillips (about Ian)
"Both my parents passed away in separate nursing homes, both early morning. Ian was rang, collected them and I knew they were both safe with him and not in a hospital mortuary. My visits to the funeral home were often and not at any time did I feel like I was bothering them."
— Kerry Harty (about Ian)
"Through our tears and heartbreak, you both helped bring humour and laughter. Going above and beyond to make my brother's final journey truly amazing. You are all the most incredible team!"
— Stephanie Hooper (about Ian & Matt)
"Not once did any part of dealing with Dallingers feel like a cold, clinical, money making exercise. At all times you felt that Matt and Ian really care about what they do and they go out of their way to support their clients as they grieve. Matt and Ian understand that neurodivergence does not mean lacking in intelligence — I was given that time and have rarely been treated better and with as much respect and understanding anywhere else."

In recent months my loved one was taken in to the care of and their funeral organised, by Matt and Ian at Dallingers. From start to finish, the respect, understanding and compassion that was shown towards my loved one and myself was incredible. Matt’s attention to detail in making a loved one look as they did when they were living was incredible. No detail suggested or requested was too much trouble, if that was how my loved one would have liked to look during their life, as was ensuring everything in the chapel of rest was as comfortable and suited to the person resting there. Not once did any part of dealing with Dallingers feel like a cold, clinical, money making exercise, that has been experienced with other funeral directors. At all times you felt that Matt and Ian really care about what they do and they go out of their way to support their clients as they grieve. Visiting a loved one in the chapel of rest is encouraged and there was no time limit on the number of visits or on how long you could stay. Something that really helped me. When the funeral day finally came around. The care and respect that was shown to my loved one was humbling and the execution of all details of the funeral was perfect and highly professional. On a different note, but one that I think is very important. A death in anyone’s life is hard to navigate, as is dealing with funeral arrangements on top of grief. Throw in to that mix neurodivergence that causes processing difficulties, well its just another incredibly difficult layer to deal with on top of everything else. Matt and Ian understand, that neurodivergence does not mean lacking in intelligence. It simply means you just need more time to process information. I was given that time and have rarely been treated better and with as much respect and understanding anywhere else. I could not recommend using Dallingers to organise a funeral highly enough and my heartfelt thanks goes to Matt and Ian From…A very satisfied client.

I can highly recommend Ian and his team at Dallingers, having entrusted them with both my mum’s and my sister’s funerals. They are caring and compassionate, thoroughly professional, and genuinely helped make an incredibly upsetting time much easier to navigate.

Ian & his colleagues looked after both my mum&dad a few years back now who passed away within 11 months of each other. From the first point of contact they were amazing. Both my parents passed away in separate nursing homes, both early morning. Ian was rang, collected them & I knew they were both safe with him& not in a hospital mortuary. I had pre-paid for their funerals beforehand. My visits to the funeral home were often ¬ at any time did I feel like I was bothering them. Everything was dealt with prompt, they arranged the specified flowers, coffin choice everything they done. After the funerals Ian knew I wanted a peice of ashes jewellery making for both of them& again this was all done for me. I loved the fact it's a local funeral director with really special, kind people working there. I always recommend Ian to anyone I can and several of my relatives and friends have used him since. Keep up your excellent work under such sad circumstances

There isn't enough thank you's that could be said to Ian, Matt and the team! The care and compassion shown towards my brother Dan, myself and the family was outstanding. Through our tears and heartbreak, you both helped bring humour and laughter. Going above and beyond to make my brothers final journey truly amazing. You are all the most incredible team! I will continue to recommend you to everyone. Thank you ❤️xx
