Absolutely made up with my new ( well new to me) BMW from these guys. The whole process was 5 star from start to finish. I didn’t have a huge budget but Sam found me a fab X1 and it came to me with 12mths MOT , beautifully valeted and I honestly couldn’t be happier. The whole team were great to deal with and I’d recommend Lowells to anyone, regardless of budget as Sam and his team go above and beyond to find a car that suites you and your lifestyle. My mum is looking to change cars in the near future and I’ll certainly be taking her to see Sam.

Hello everyone, I would like to share an unpleasant experience I had with this car dealership. On 27/03/2026, I travelled to purchase a car from them — a BMW X6M. I had been in contact with the seller for about two weeks prior to arrange a viewing. I live approximately four hours away, so this required planning. I took time off work, and another person kindly drove me there. When we arrived, everything initially seemed fine. I test drove the car and did not notice any issues — there were no warning lights on the dashboard, and everything appeared to be in good condition. We completed the paperwork, and I purchased the vehicle. After leaving, I added £80 worth of fuel and began the journey home. However, less than an hour into the drive, the car broke down. An engine warning light appeared, and the vehicle lost power while I was on the motorway. It would not drive faster than 30 mph, which was quite dangerous. I contacted the dealership immediately and explained the situation. They provided me with a contact number to return the car, but they refused to arrange or cover the cost of recovery. It felt as though they were not concerned, and it raised suspicions that they may have been aware of the issue beforehand. After about two hours of discussion with them, I had no choice but to arrange recovery myself, which cost £350. We then had to wait around four hours for the recovery truck to arrive. I returned the car to them and politely requested reimbursement for the recovery costs, as well as the fuel I had Thank you for taking the time to read this.
