Following the death of my mum in January we used the Haydock office of Frank Dooley to organise the funeral as my dad lives in Haydock and it would be convenient for him to visit mum in the chapel of rest. We found their service excellent from our first meeting right up until the day of the funeral. All the staff we dealt with highly professional, comforting and empathetic. I’d like to say a particular thank you to Fiona who was always available to answer my questions and really made us feel that everything would run smoothly. The chapel of rest is very calm and peaceful and Fiona did a great job preparing mum. On the day of the funeral Kieron and his team were brilliant.I can’t praise the whole team highly enough.

My son sadly passed away in May 2021 , he was entrusted to the care of Dooley and Sons Haydock .The quality of care and the professionalism shown was sadly lacking , many mistakes were made causing stress and trauma to the family .An investigation was launched and our questions were finally answered months later .Whilst i appreciate the honesty of the investigation and the acceptance that quote " we are taking the appropriate actions to ensure a situation of this nature does not occur in the future with any other family "After our traumatic experience i would not advise using this company .

What a truly comforting and and amazing experience we as a family had from Frank Dooley & Son in Haydock. Whilst it was different than we ever envisaged given the current restrictions in place we were left in no doubt that we were in safe hands and that we wouldn't forget or miss any of the detail that was important too us. Dad's funeral was tailored to our needs and focussed very much on what we as a family wanted. Kieron guided us through from start to finish with great confidence which gave us comfort. The last memories of dad in hospital were not the best but to visit him in Chapel at Haydock and to see him so peaceful and just sleeping replaced the times we wanted to erase. He was transformed to the man we will always remember, always smart and very proud. Thank you Tony for your patience and understanding during our visits. I know that Kieron had personally and secretly visited the family home/pick up points and checked the route to the crematorium at least a couple of times to make sure everything went smoothly on the day. When the day arrived it went better that I ever imagined, the cortege arrived in plenty of time for reflection. Kieron was aware that family, friends, neighbours, and dog walkers who were unable to attend the service would be on the route and he made allowance for this. As we left the family home he even reminded us of the need to ensure we had locked up securely. The service itself was lovely and the webcast suggested by the team allowed family and friends from all over the world join us in our final farewell. Whilst I could go on and on, I just wanted to mention the Much Loved tribute page to dad was the icing on the cake allowing family and friends to share their personal tributes and memories, photos and donations directly to our chosen charities without the need for us to get involved with cash and cheques, donations went straight through to the charities.WOW - I never thought I would be writing a review about the great service my family received for my dad's funeral but here I am. On behalf of the family and myself, thank you Angela, Kieron and the whole team at Frank Dooley's in Haydock. Dad would have loved his send off. You are all amazing.. xx

Excellent service. The staff were very professional and compassionate, our family didn't feel rushed or pressured to make a decision at all. On the day everything was carried out with gentle dignity. My brothers and I would strongly recommend.

I lost my father a couple of months ago and we used this funeral company to look after him. We live in haydock so we used the haydock funeral village home and we were pleasantly surprised to how beautiful the place is and we could not fault anything from start to finish kieron Steve and the rest of the staff are the most understanding ,compassionate and go far beyond there duty as undertakers . Everything was planned to perfection we are all so overwhelmed with how everything was and cannot thank them enough they made such a heartbreaking time for us all the better and did my dad and family proud I cannot recommend them enough to everyone
