Freeman Brothers were suggested to my wife after the sad death of her Father in April. This review is not just from me but on behalf of my wife Sharon as well.We expected a professional and dignified service and we certainly got that. However, that is only part of the story. Chrissie was wonderful throughout and her caring attitude really made a difference to my wife. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Russell and his team provided a lovely and respectful service at the crematorium. The officiant, Hadge, made the ceremony personal and we really felt he was sharing the ceremony with us and not simply just doing his job.We genuinely feel that Freeman Brothers went above and beyond what we expected and whilst being professional at all times still managed to treat us personally and with great care and consideration. We 100% recommend them to anyone. It has not been an easy few weeks for us but Freeman Brothers certainly played their part in helping us manage during this difficult time. Many thanks to the team you have all been great.

My wife and I were looked after in a very professional, yet individual and caring way by Chrissie and Russell at Hurstpierpoint, after my dear sister passed away. They also made some thoughtful introductions re flowers and a humanist amongst others, and were very considerate in helping us make the right choices without any pressure at what is always going to be a very difficult time.Tom and Brett who managed the proceedings on the day adopted just the right ‘tone’ and couldn’t have been better in the way they managed us and the event overall. The respect shown for my sister was very touching. After the event, it was interesting that we had a number of comments from friends that attended the funeral saying that while they had been to a number of funerals this one stood out as being one of the best they had ever been too, which was comforting in itself. So heartfelt thanks to Chrissie, Russell, Tom & Brett for the part everyone played in making a very sad occasion as good as it possibly could be.I am so pleased we chose Freeman Brothers and would not hesitate to recommend this long established family firm.

We contacted Freeman Brothers in Hurstpierpoint after the death of our beloved Mum/Nan/Great Nan/Great Great Nan. From our first meeting with Russell we knew we had made the right choice. He immediately made us feel at ease and was so easy to talk to, so kind and caring. At such a sad time it was a great comfort. He provided a first class service, doing all he could to make the whole process easier for us. He treated our loved one with dignity and respect and we just knew she was in safe hands with him.The attention to detail made the perfect send off for a much loved lady. Just how she planned. Thank you so much Russell.I would recommend this funeral directors without hesitation!
