Mum’s Funeral Directors were truly exceptional. From the first call and meeting with Ryan who coordinated the Church, Crematorium and found us a Vicar to hold the services, to the final goodbye with Freddie and his team, their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference. They treated Mum with such dignity and Nina at Cheadle helped us feel supported every step of the way. The service was beautifully personal, thoughtfully arranged, and handled with care. We’re so grateful to the team for making a difficult time feel peaceful and meaningful. Highly recommended

Having never organised a funeral before we were feeling overwhelmed with the process, however we had nothing to worry about as Matt and his team helped us navigate this sad time with professionalism, kindness and respect. Nothing was too much trouble, no question too silly and all requests were met. We would definitely use George Hill again and would recommend to anyone..

Our family have used Georg Hill’s funeral services for many years now, and the most recent time was for my mum who sadly passed away on 13th June. This time we were dealt with by Jimmy Love. The service we received as a family from Jimmy was impeccable. Very professional. Very caring and faultless in his planning and organisation for my mum’s funeral. Jimmy and George Hills made a very difficult occasion that much better in helping to deal with it. Excellent service. Thank you Jimmy.

John Wild at George Hill/ Alcocks provided a most supportive, helpful and thoughtful service. He responded speedily to all my queries. Initially I had to provide info, make decisions etc for registration, from a long distance away. I met John in person when my husband and I travelled down to Stockport from the Isle of Skye, for the funeral service itself. Flowers, an excellent celebrant contact in Anna Heyes, music for the service were all dealt with to perfection. All in all a most respectful, dignified and caring experience. Thank you John for your professionalism and kindness.

Not coming from Stockport, it was difficult to choose a Funeral Director. I had already read the reviews so went ahead and contacted Johnathan Alcock and Sons. From the very start I found them to be helpful and sympathetic. Although the family only met John Wild once, he kept us informed of everything that had been arranged on our behalf. We were adamant that we wanted a certain piece of music and John helped us to fulfil that. It was perfect. Thank you to John and staff for their impeccable service.
