Incredibly kind and considerate staff. They made the process of dealing with my mom‘s passing a much easier process than I had anticipated. Thank you for your kindness.❤️

Matthew and the team at Gibson’s are professional, supportive and kind. They made sure that our most difficult of days ended up being ones that we can look back on with fondness. They gave us confidence that everything was taken care of and carried us along in their capable hands. Thank you.

Planning a funeral is never easy, but all at Gibsons Bishop Auckland handled our sons funeral like they were our closest friends. Every step of the way they were professional, friendly, kind and respectful. We can never thank them enough for making an extremely hard day go so smoothly, they allowed us to grieve and not worry about arrangements.

Thank you Victoria for looking after Lynn for me. I can honestly say that you were so supportive, understanding and professional.I would never have managed without you.Thank you Matthew for the dignified service, help and support on the day. I could not fault anything. The catering was also superb, thank you making the effort. It went down very well with the guests.Even all of your office staff are so helpful, friendly and kind.

I cannot praise the service provided by Gibson’s enough.Sadly, we’re having to deal with our third death in 6 months and Gibson’s dealt with the first in May of this year.I hadn’t appreciated just how good they were ( never having had anything to compare) until now.My mother has died and she had a funeral plan with the Cooperative.Dealing with them had been quite stressful as unlike Gibson’s who provided me with a single contact point throughout, I was initially directed to a call centre in Manchester and thereafter have had to deal with a variety of people in Bishop Auckland.Equally, whilst Gibson’s provided ready solutions to problems such as music choices, I’ve had to push the Cooperative to find answers to similar issues. It’s clear to me that the Cooperative Funeral Service is a corporate model, Gibson’s is a personal one- cannot recommend them enough and they made a difficult time easier.
