Gordon, Sally and Charlotte are an excellent team who supporting us through the death of my father in law to his funeral on 25/04/26. They were so kind and caring and went above and beyond. The day of the funeral was perfect and a beautiful celebration. Every small detail was organised with such efficiency and care. I would like to send my sincere thanks to Gordon, Sally and Charlotte for their kindness and care during the funeral arrangements and service for my step-father. From the first call to Sally regarding my step father’s death, I felt fully supported in every step of the process. Everything was dealt with in a caring, thoughtful and friendly way as well as with professionalism. I could call them to discuss any detail at any time, and this was no trouble to them, they were always there to help out if need be. Gordon and Sally put me in touch with Ali, the celebrant for the service. She put together a tribute to Reg which reflected his life perfectly – she listened so carefully to my story telling when she visited me to find out about my stepfather and managed to capture him so well in this tribute. She led the service with sensitivity and care which was so much appreciated. Gordon and his team were brilliant on the day of the funeral – they acted with dignity and calmness and again myself and my family felt fully supported. Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us arranging the funeral and just being there for us – you are absolutely brilliant at what you do and I really could not recommend your services enough – there is no one better at a difficult time like this. Truly grateful. Thank you xx

I was so happy with the kindness and care that we received from Gordon, Charlotte and Sally. Receiving true warmth and a time of deep sadness was invaluable. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone going through the grieving process as they were so gentle and respectful with my lovely mum.

We had been given the names of a few funeral directors and Gordon Haynes was the first one I called. After my initial conversation with Sally I was so impressed that I decided I need look no further. I was sure that mum would be in safe hands from then onwards. I wasn’t wrong - the care and professionalism shown by Gordon and every single member of his team was superb from start to finish and we would not hesitate to recommend them .
