Operating from Old Church House at 60 South Road, the business has served Stourbridge and the surrounding communities for more than 180 years, making it one of the most long-standing funeral directors in the region. Over the years, the company has had premises in Queen Street and Enville Street before moving to its current South Road location in 1970. Today, Pat and Lucy Porter are the proprietors, with Lucy managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the business retains its deeply personal and family-focused approach.
H. Porter & Sons provides a comprehensive 24-hour funeral service, 365 days a year, serving Stourbridge, Kinver, Hagley, and surrounding communities across the West Midlands, Shropshire, Worcestershire, and South Staffordshire. Their services include bespoke funeral transport, peaceful and private chapels of rest, a florist service, memorial masonry, pre-paid funeral plans, and a catering service in their private air-conditioned lounge with a secluded courtyard garden. The firm takes complete responsibility for all funeral arrangements, removing the burden from families at this difficult time.
