Founded circa 1750, the Mason family has operated in the region for seven generations, building a reputation for combining traditional values with modern facilities. The business remains entirely family-owned, which helps keep funeral costs competitive by eliminating expensive rental overheads.
The Stony Stratford branch is one of several premises operated by the company across Milton Keynes, all of which feature private chapels of rest, well-appointed offices, and beautiful gardens. The team prides itself on treating every deceased person with the utmost respect, ensuring they rest in individual coffins on the premises until the day of the funeral — no central storage facilities are used.
A dedicated member of the team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide help and advice. Services cater for all denominations as well as non-religious funerals, and every funeral is individually tailored to the family's wishes. H W Mason and Sons also offers monumental masonry and pre-planned funeral services.
