We would honestly have been overwhelmed and lost had it not been for the amazing, compassionate team at Harold whites: Bernadette, Tracey and Martin. They made something so emotionally daunting so easy and we felt supported every single step of the way, (especially having not gone through this experience before!) Each question we had was taken seriously and answered with respect and empathy. Someone from the team was there every time we called to picked up the phone day or night. Their assistance in helping to plan the funeral was invaluable and they made all our requests and wishes happen. What was even more appreciated was that there was a true, genuine interest in them getting to know mum and who ‘she’ was. The ironic thing is that the whole day went so perfect that mum would have loved actually being there in the middle of it all- (but she was in spirit!) On behalf of the ‘Weatherley’ family we send the team of Harold Whites (Chingford) our sincere and deepest gratitude.

When we list our son in law suddenly and tragically, we were completely devastated and overwhelmed. The circumstances made everything very difficult, and as a family we simply could not face meeting with anyone in person. Regardless of that from the very first contact, the team understood this without us ever having to over-explain ourselves. Everything was handled with professionalism and sensitivity, and despite never setting foot through the door, every detail was taken care of perfectly. I want to mention Bernadette specifically, because she deserves to be named. She was wonderful. Her warmth, gentleness, and understanding carried us through something we didn’t know how to carry ourselves. She communicated everything clearly and compassionately, never making us feel rushed or awkward about our situation. She just knew what we needed. Throughly recommended

I cannot recommend Harold White enough for everything they did for me and my sister when trying to navigate the loss of our beloved grandparents, with no parental help, we genuinely wouldn’t have got through the process without the professionalism and care of the team at Chingford. Bernadette was so compassionate and kind to us. She helped us understand the process and was always available to help us if we didn’t understand something. Thank you for everything. I would like to thank Tracy and the team for arranging such a beautiful funeral for my grandad today; Tracy went above and beyond to support our family and was very kind and patient. Everything from choosing the details, to the flowers which were stunning beyond words, the order of service and transport - it was truly magnificent and we all felt safe and looked after, we can’t thank you enough. It’s always going to be hard making arrangements for a loved one, but Bernadette and the team at Harold White really looked after us when arranging the funeral. She listened to exactly what we wanted and dealt with everything so the burden was lifted from me - she looked after both us and Dad with such kindness and compassion. Martin who met us at the cemetery was lovely, so respectful and calm. We couldn’t have asked for more and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
