"Wendy on the day was really sensitive and professional but also looked out for one of our party who was taken ill. Chris in the office and Wendy and her team were great throughout — comforting, understanding and provided helpful guidance and advice."
— Callum Girvan (about Wendy)
"Dad did not take a great photo and they made him look great! Nothing was too much trouble and then on the day Nigel and the team were effortlessly respectful and calm throughout."
— Sue Bailey (about Nigel)
"Hemming and Peace dealt with the arrangements for both of my parents' funerals. I was treated with great kindness and compassion on both occasions and felt that they took great pride in what they do. I cannot recommend them highly enough."
— Sian Carrington
"Thank you so much Emma you are a credit to your company! Yourself and all people involved in dad's funeral made an emotional sad time easier to deal with. You were totally understanding, kind, considerate — nothing was too much trouble. The funeral day was so well planned, although very sad, a memorable day we will cherish forever."
— Jules hazel x (about Emma)
"Hemming and Peace were quite fantastic from the beginning to the end of a funeral that was full of uncertainty and far from simple to arrange. Nigel, Trace and Chris were an absolute delight to deal with, warm and friendly, they could not have been more helpful, thoughtful and cooperative. The performance of Nigel and his team at the funeral service and burial was highly professional and particularly dignified."
— Charles Le Brun (about Nigel)
"Whilst upset and sad for the loss of my husband and my daughters father I was never in any doubt that he was in the best possible hands. Their kindness and compassion shown to our 7 year old daughter was beyond exceptional helping her understand and answering questions that she had. Then there is Nigel … a rock on the toughest of days a reassuring look telling me we were doing just fine but also bringing the humour that was so needed. Never have I danced out of a crematorium but Nigel read the situation he was blooming marvellous. So wonderful was the care you gave us a member of the funeral party booked you for another funeral there and then — that says a lot for the service you get at Hemming and Peace."
— Emily Butler (about Nigel)

I am a celebrant and conducted a service on FRIDAY 6th of MARCH at OAKLEY WOOD Crematorium. The first time I have ever worked with HEMMING and PEACE. The service ran smoothly and they were a delight to work with, very professional and considerate.

Chris in the office and Wendy (funeral director) and her team were great throughout. Comforting, understanding and provided helpful guidance and advice. Wendy on the day was really sensitive and professional but also looked out for one of our party who was taken ill.

Hemming and Peace were quite fantastic from the beginning to the end of a funeral that was full of uncertainty and far from simple to arrange. Nigel, Trace and Chris were an absolute delight to deal with, warm and friendly, they could not have been more helpful, thoughtful and cooperative. Their thoroughness was particularly evident in the time they took to make sure we were entirely happy with the order of service and the printed version was of a particularly high quality. The performance of Nigel and his team at the funeral service and burial was highly professional and particularly dignified. I would like to thank them all for everything they did and I could not recommend them more highly.

Absolutely brilliant throughout. From our first experience with Chris in the office to the hassle free compilation of order of service, Dad did not take a great photo and they made him look great! Nothing was too much trouble and then on the day Nigel and the team were effortlessly respectful and calm throughout. Could not fault and highly recommend.
