All members of the team were efficient, kind and patient. They paid great attention to detail and made sure everything went without a hitch at the crematorium.

The help and support I received when I arranged my Dad’s funeral was exceptional. Nigel Peace and his team took us through the often difficult process with such honest professionalism and genuine care. Nigel lead the service as our celebrant and it was delivered with such sincerity and great humour which is just what I wanted and needed in my personal journey in saying my final farewell to my Dad. He is a very talented and perceptive man. I felt very reassured and confident in the ability of the whole team in ensuring that everything was as I wanted. They listened, they made suggestions and I felt very much that they actual cared! I would highly recommend.

We used Hemming and Peace as I had been to a funeral where they were the undertakers and I was very impressed. My mum passed away so I contacted them. Firstly it took over 10 days for them to collect mum from the hospital which seemed a long time ! I had to do a lot of the chasing for things to be done which I really didn’t feel like doing. On the day of the funeral my one request was to go past mums house ( the next street) and they didn’t. This was very upsetting for me as my mum loved her house. At the service the hymns were written in the order of service but the music only played for one verse of the hymns even though 5 were printed. I was very upset and disappointed as you only get one chance of getting a funeral right and sadly they didn’t.

Nigel Peace recently conducted the funeral service for my 102 year old mother. I was most impressed by his care and attention and determination to ensure that her long life was captured in his eulogy. In my opinion he went above and beyond the service I was expecting and I can thoroughly recommend the services of Hemming and Peace.

Hemming and Peace provided the funeral service for my dad recently. From the minute we contacted Nigel and he arrived at our house, we knew dad was in the best hands possible. Compassionate, professional and personal service from everyone. Nigel even dealt with my numerous phone calls and emails over the bank holiday weekend, to ensure dad got the best send off possible. Thank you to all the team, From all of the family.
