They were amazing for my dad’s funeral. They were helpful, friendly, considerate and happy to do anything we needed. Laura communicated often and would answer any questions quickly. Thank you so much Laura and your team for a wonderful send off. Will definitely recommend you to others just as my aunt recommended you to us. xx

I lost my mum Jessie Best and, although she was 99 and had had a good life, it was an emotionally very difficult time. Laura helped us through the whole thing and worked tirelessly to make sure we had the send off we wanted for mum. I do think she never sleeps as she always responded, no matter the time of day. On the day itself everyone connected with Team Henwood played their part, the piper, the pall bearers, the drivers Reverend Di and of course Laura herself. It was professional but personal and I cannot recommend Henwood enough and if ever the situation arises again I will be going to Henwood. Diana Best (daughter)

At a very difficult time for us, Laura at Henwood funerals made the whole experience less stressful and provided all the love and care for our dad. From the first phone call to Laura we knew we had made the right choice. Everything was explained in a very easy and understandable way. All of our wishes were taken onboard and followed through to the end. Dad had a wonderful send off. We cannot thank Laura enough for making such a sad time a memory that will stay with us forever. Also a thank you to Mike. Both your caring and loving natures really shone through. A wonderfully professional and dedicated team. Would definatley recommend Henwood Funerals. Thank you so much for everything x

Nobody ever wants to plan a funeral – it’s one of the hardest things you’ll ever have to do – but Laura at Henwood Funerals made the entire process so much easier, and did so with genuine compassion, care and professionalism. From the very beginning, everything was sorted right there and then, and communication throughout was excellent. Laura took care of absolutely everything, including all the little details you don’t even realise are happening behind the scenes: coming to collect my dad’s suit, transporting all the flowers, arranging the music and video tribute, organising donations – truly everything. Her support was constant and reassuring, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly that it’s almost hard to pinpoint exactly what they did – simply because it was all handled so seamlessly. From picking us all up and taking us to the crematorium, to the ceremony itself, and then bringing us all home again, everything was calm, respectful and perfectly organised. Mike also played a key role on the day and was equally professional and kind. I honestly can’t fault Henwood Funerals. Laura has been amazing, and I’m so grateful for the care and dignity shown to my dad and to our family at such a difficult time.

Phenomenal experience from start to finish, a true traditional family funeral director. Laura was called out to arrange my childs funeral, a very difficult situation. From the first meeting in the hospice to the final evening of the wake she’s been incredible! The order of service is fitting, NOTHING was too much trouble. We had a film tribute and eulogy, nothing felt rushed and everything was thoroughly explained.
