Heritage in Wendover recently took care of the arrangements for our fabulous Mum's funeral. Our experience was excellent from start to finish. Jan in the office cared for both Mum and us as if we were family. Phil and his assistant Funeral Directors made the actual funeral flawless and were a quiet, calm presence in the background. Highly recommended.

Walking through the doors of a funeral directors to arrange the funeral of my life long partner was the darkest moment of my life. Jan welcomed me and instantly made me feel completely at ease. The enormity of the task was made easier Jan helped me every step of the way, offering kindness, support and guidance throughout. My requirements were a little complex, so involved more than one meeting, but Jan was always available and kept me informed, liaising with the crematorium, the florist and the Heritage & Sons team, making sure every detail was perfect. I was concerned about visiting the Chapel of Rest to say my final goodbyes, but again, Jan offered support and was always there if needed. In fact, Jan made it so easy, I visited twice, which eased my pain somewhat. I know that the love of my life was cared for impeccably, with dignity and with the utmost respect. I will always be grateful to Jan and the rest of the team at Heritage & Sons (Wendover) for seeing me through the toughest time of my life with kindness, dignity and professionalism.

On behalf of Jamie and I, just a huge thankyou to Jan, Alison and the team at Heritage for their kindness, care and compassion when helping us organise our dad's funeral arrangements recently. Jan's attention to detail and genuine warmth was evident in all that she did. She suggested a celebrant for the service, Simon, who was absolutely perfect and he helped make Dads send off just perfect. It takes a special kind of person to do this job - someone with empathy, patience and understanding and we would like to thank Jan and the team for all of their support during this difficult time. Thankyou.

My family and I were happy with the service we received on ALL levels from Jan and her team at Heritage. From the compassionate planning of Mum's send off to the follow up calls regarding the order of service everything could not have been more perfect. Jan made a very difficult event somehow so much more bearable and a very positive day helping us all move forward. May I also add that Phil's professionalism and kindness the night before and on the day was so gratefully received. Thank you so much

An absolutely first-class service which made a difficult time much easier for us. We were reassured at every stage by Jan, who was endlessly kind, empathetic, warm, friendly, and professional. Everything was clear and explained in full, helping us to make any necessary decisions. We were delighted by the ceremony and the Catholic priest booked, and the recommendation of The Firecrest for the wake was extremely helpful, leading to a most successful and uplifting afternoon with relatives and friends. Jan also recommended a lovely florist, Eileen, whose flowers looked magnificent on our chosen wicker type casket (which also looked quite splendid). The ceremony booklet was also beautifully done. Thank you, Heritage & Sons, thank you Jan, we will always be grateful, and I will have no hesitation in recommending your services.
