We used Heritage & Sons for our mother's funeral ( seven years ago) and father's funeral this month (October 25). They looked after our father extremely well. It meant so much to us that he was being cared for with the respect and the care his family would have given him. Colleen was really helpful, patient and understanding with our numerous queries and requests. They provided a professional and respectful service on the day and helped us during a very difficult time. I am extremely grateful to all at Heritage & Sons, particularly Colleen.

I have nothing but praise and thanks for how beautifully Heritage & Sons helped us plan and then carried out the funeral service for my father. Sarah, the funeral director, was kind, sensitive and even checked up on me on the morning of the funeral. Kim, the celebrant, provided by Heritage, was also superb, listened to our stories and wrote and delivered the most wonderful eulogy. I would totally recommend Heritage to anyone.

Sadly we lost our Dad early September this year and we decided to use Heritage & Sons to organise our beloved Dads final journey. We as a family have been overwhelmed with the service that they have provided. They have made an unbearable situation that bit eaisier for us with the support and guidance they gave us. The compassion and care that was shown to not just us but our late Father has been phenomenal. From getting Dad ready for the Chapel of rest, which was done in the most dignified manor, to even the smallest of details that gave him the very best send off which he so deserved. From start to finish they tried to ease our burden and they ensured the day ran like clockwork showing us and our Dad the utmost kindness and respect. A special mention is deserved for Sarah and Coleen who looked after us during this time. We will forever be greatful for the service you provided us. The horses and carriage that took our dad to his service was incredibly beautiful and will be remembered and talked about for years to come. We are so glad that we chose you to look after us during this time, and appreciate all that you have done for us and our Father. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you

We are so thankful for everything you have and continue to do for us. Our Dads wishes were carried out to the letter. We were amazed at his beautiful coffin. When my mum died in 2022 I also couldn’t have been looked after better.

Words can’t describe how grateful I am to David, Colleen and the team for how they looked after my mum and also my family during the worst time of our life. From the moment I called I was greeted with a heartwarming welcome. Mums life was always focused on family so making my 3 children apart of the process and the funeral was key. My biggest was so anxious and was scared to see the coffin but when we arrived at the funeral home Colleen had made the room full of children’s toys so my girls felt relaxed before going to stick stickers on my mums coffin, they actually happily wondered in front of me with Colleen to see it 1st. We left that day not feeling the dread we’d assume we’d feel but actually uplifted. I wanted a coffin that didn’t look like a coffin and that’s what we ended up with a lilic coffin with bright flowers and butterflies on. The level of detail they put in was amazing, even to the fine detail of hanging little starts my mums rainbows and brownies had made on the handles. Both my grandma and I have very different opinions and personalities and the team picked up on this which was very helpful. Colleen I am forever grateful for you staying with me whilst I saw mum and keeping the baby entertained you made the experience so much better. Thank you for always reassuring me and answering my 100s of emails and phone calls. I’d honestly really recommend David, Colleen and the team to look after your loved ones as the level of compassion and care they give is out of this world. It was a relief to know my mum was safe with them. Thank you Alicia :)
