I chose Holmes and Family for my wife's funeral after researching several local funeral directors and decided that I would prefer a family-run independent one, rather than one owned by a large group. I was not disappointed, and was very pleased with the service that I received, from my initial phone enquiry to being dropped off at the wake. Claire at Sandhurst was very kind and patient in organising everything. Oliver Holmes was very dignified and respectful when he collected my wife and throughout the funeral too, nothing seemed too much trouble. I couldn't have asked for more and would certainly highly recommend Holmes and Family.

I can't recommend Holmes and Family highly enough. From my initial contact with Claire everything was dealt with in a caring and professional manner. Every question was answered promptly and nothing was too much trouble. On the day of the funeral Oliver and the team provided Dad with the dignified send-off he deserved. You only get one chance to say goodbye and Holmes and Family made sure that everything ran smoothly for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
