We cannot thank Alison enough for all of her compassion, care and support when we sadly lost our lovely uncle, on the day of the service we were looked after by a lovely man named Ray, he made sure everything that was planned went like clockwork, Alison, Ray and all the team made us feel safe and we just knew that our uncle was being cared for, thank you all for your amazing work and support.

My brother Adrian Cheung (25) passed away in a motorbike accident, we appointed James Hawes & Goodchild as his funeral director. The staff were extremely helpful and took care of everything.Funeral arranger Alison Orrow was absolutely brilliant, she was very comforting and went beyond the call of duty to assist us, she always kept us informed, liaise with local authorities and was there to answer any questions we had and guide us throughout this tragedy.Rev. Elizabeth Price led the service, she gave us a home visit a week before the funeral and we worked on the order of service together, friends and family have commented as one of the best church service they've attended as the service was very solemn and The sermon was very relevant to the mourners. The funeral director Peter King and his team were very respectful throughout the funeral, they gave my late brother the respect and dignity he deserved. I couldn't recommend them enough, thank you for giving my brother Adrian a wonderful send off.

A personal recommendation from friends led me to James Hawes and Goodchild and I am very glad it did. They took care of everything with sensitivity and thoughtfulness, responded quickly when I contacted them and followed my wishes carefully. I wish I had not needed to use them but they were a tremendous support at a really difficult time.
