My Dad and I used Averil Phillips when my mum passed away just after Christmas. They were excellent. Caring, helpful and professional every step of the way. On behalf of myself and my family, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Averil Phillips Funeral Directors, especially to Tim, who supported us throughout the organisation of my father’s funeral. This was an incredibly difficult time for us. Before finding Averil Phillips, I spoke to around ten different companies, and I can honestly say they were the only ones who truly cared. From the very first contact, they were sensitive, compassionate, and highly professional. Nothing ever felt rushed or transactional, they treated us with genuine kindness and respect. As this was our first time arranging a cremation service in the UK, we were unfamiliar with the process. Tim was exceptionally patient and took the time to explain everything clearly and calmly, making sure we understood each step. The service itself was beautiful and handled with great dignity. I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for my loved ones after death. Averil Phillips have looked after both of my parents. Each time we were met with kindness, compassion and complete dignity. I knew without a doubt that they were in safe hands once in Averils care. A special mention for Jacky - who's kindness knows no bounds. Nothing was too much trouble. She understands that each person is an individual, and will help you cater your farewell accordingly and somehow make you feel at ease during the process. All the staff I met were warm and welcoming. I have no doubt that extends to all the staff that work so hard behind the scenes too. I can not recommend Averil Phillips enough and will be forever grateful for the wonderful service they provided for my family.

Averil Phillips was recommended to me by a member of the clergy who said “ they are the best in the business”. He was absolutely right. Mum mum sadly passed away in October and we contacted Averil Phillips immediately. From start to finish Averil and Tim were fantastic. Extremely professional, compassionate, sensitive and discrete. Tim in particular was so helpful advising us and chasing various parties necessary to expedite the process, and Averil was delightful and an exemplary professional.
