L Hawkins and Sons Ltd is an independent, family-run funeral directors based in Leatherhead, Surrey, with roots stretching back to the 1880s. Established on their present site in 1932, the Hawkins Family originally specialised in stone masonry before expanding in the 1930s to become a dedicated provider of high-quality funeral services. In 2004, their premises at 2a Highlands Road were completely rebuilt to provide purpose-built, modern facilities, including air-conditioned Chapels of Rest for those in their care.
The team at L Hawkins and Sons takes great pride in offering a caring, sympathetic, and professional service to the local community during what can be an incredibly difficult time. Their experienced, friendly staff — all of whom live in the local area — are available during office hours for advice and guidance, and around the clock for emergencies. They are also happy to visit clients in their own homes.
L Hawkins and Sons offers a comprehensive range of services, including cremation, religious and non-religious funeral services, burials, and woodland funerals. They cater to all faiths, denominations, and ethnic communities, and can arrange funerals anywhere in the country. With two offices in the centre of Leatherhead, both within walking distance of the Registry Office, they make the process as straightforward and supportive as possible.
