Lewis - you made the saddest time in our lives bearable. You took off all the responsibility from the moment of mum's death when we contacted you till the actual burial. Your kindness, professionalism and genuine care was exceptional. I recommend you 120 % Jude :)

Lewis was incredibly helpful and compassionate when arranging the funeral of my late grandmother. He assisted us from all the way in Australia to provide an online service, and went out of his way to accommodate our wishes. Couldn't recommend higher.

When my wife passed away recently we had no hesitation in asking Lewis Northern to conduct her funeral arrangements. We accessed the very informative website with it's clear and caring messages and were delighted to engage with an independent family run experienced provider. As soon as we met Lewis we knew that we had made the right decision.Lewis is compassionate and nothing is too much trouble. We were allowed to visit the Chapel of Rest at any time and the support we received throughout was exceptional. His attention to detail is very professional and at the same time comforting and is conducted in a very sensitive way. Consequently the quality of service is first class and is reflected in all the staff, with a special mention for Kirsty.Their service was conducted with care, respect and dignity throughout. Lewis arranged all aspects of the funeral. The flowers were remarkable and the entire Service was indeed a joyous celebration of my Wife's life.My family and I wish to thank Lewis Northern for the incredible kindness displayed throughout and we highly recommend them to those looking for someone to do them proud when it matters the most. The Guest Family

Lewis Northen and his family run business really are the best funeral company one could ever hope for in such sad times. Lewis put my entire family at ease, with his courteous and kind treatment of us all. Never having had to deal with a funeral before, naturally we did not know where to start. But Lewis was able to reassure us and make the whole process as pain free as planning a funeral can be. The respect and kindness he showed to us all was above and beyond what we had expected, and the way he looked after our sadly passed father was perfect. Lewis made our entire family feel important to him, which given how distraught we all are and have been, meant such a lot. I honestly could not have hoped for a better funeral for my beloved Dad. Thank you so much to Lewis, we as a family are so glad we decided to use his family run business.
