The staff, Tim ,Kathy and Lee plus the drivers and anyone else I haven’t mentioned could not have been more professional and compassionate. My fathers Funeral was pitched just were he would have wanted it. Understated but full of love family and friendship. Thanks so much for making a very sad occasion in my families life such a loving and memorable day x

I cannot fault the drivers and celebrant who covered my mothers funeral. They were very professional, caring and sympathetic. However the person/ admin in the Ascot was none of those. The order of service was wrong with my mothers birth date correct but her death was in the future. In fact at the time of writing this we still are not at that date. This is a simple thing that they could have spotted and not printed a date that meant she was still alive. In contacting them they said it was our fault as we had proof read the order of service. We had read it but were looking at the content of the service, not the dates on the front page and we were in grief so the basics should be looked after by a good funeral directors. The next time they were contacted they blamed their printers! On another note my father wanted a donation page set up. This page was listed on the order of service. When people have tried to donate the page is not there, it has not been set up. Contacting Lines Bannister people have been told the family have asked for the page to be taken down! This is not the case and I am disappointed by their attitude and professionalism.Losing anyone is a stressful and painful enough experience without having to deal with funeral directors who don't seem to care.

Never again. The worst service I have ever received. Karen from Lines Bannister should be ashamed of herself. The order of service was printed with the incorrect date of death on, one month ahead of the actual death and 2 weeks ahead of the funeral date. The proof of order of service was sent and checked but the date of death was not checked, spellings of names were checked and these went to print. Karen is saying it’s the customers fault for not checking it but she or one of the team typed it incorrectly in a rush probably thinking about lunch. We had the coldest most business like phone call explaining to us it was OUR fault. Obviously in our grief we should double check their work and realise that’s what the £985 professional service charge is for. Also, NO tribute page and NO email with a link on were set up or sent. It’s like our mum is forgotten, a business transaction, just another person. And she wasn’t. She was our mum.

A caring and excellent company who handled a family funeral without fuss or difficulty even though we are all located some distance from Ascot. On the day all aspects were excellent and respectful. I would recommend Lines Bannister highly.
