Chris Lord-Brown looked after my Grandmas funeral. I couldn’t thank him anymore for how well he looked after us. When we rang late at night, he would put our mind at rest and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend to everyone!

Jonathen Harty and Chris Lord-Brown arranged my dear father in law's funeral a couple of weeks ago. Their kindness, thoughtfulness and compassion made a difficult experience much easier to bear. From the start I felt we were in safe and extremely kind hands. Their lovely premises, complete with Welsh art on the walls is warm and welcoming, peaceful even; and it was comforting that our dad was there. My experience of sitting with my father in law in the parlour, for as long as I needed to, though deeply sorrowful, really helped me. The fact that his photo was up and some favourite music playing helped me to express what I felt, and to get the closure I needed.Jonathen and Chris are adept at handling a difficult transition with such warmth and aplomb, that they bring a sense of normalcy about the process, that dispels much of what is daunting and unsettling when having to confront the most difficult of processes that we all go through. The fact that they literally walk you through everything, and gently remind you of the parts that you need to take care of, is so strengthening.I cannot recommend Lord-Brown & Harty enough, they deserve all the praise that is coming to them.

I recently decided to make my will & address future funeral arrangements for myself & to avoid any family distress. A friend recommended that I make enquiries at the recently opened Lord-Brown & Harty Ltd of Llandudno.I immediately responded to this when I found out that the business was "pet friendly," as I am never separated from my Welsh Border Collie!I visited the premises & they were tastefully decorated, serene & peaceful. There were special quiet areas to study information in private, & reflect on what is a very personal decision.I must admit, this was an exercise I was not only dreading but had constantly been avoiding. As it turned out, thanks to the caring & sympathetic staff it has been a pleasant experience. I feel that they have got the right balance between being professional but treating you as a person to meet your needs. They are very respectful when it comes to guiding you with costs & explained all the options clearly. There was no pressure to make any decisions & they encouraged me to take my time & to ring or call if I needed more help.A week later, I walked past with my dog & she she started wagging her tail & turned to go into the premises as she enjoyed herself that much! She thought we would be visiting regularly & was disappointed when we didn't go in!My dog & I feel that we have made some new friends in a "surprisingly new environment!"

Highly recommended funeral directors, professional and caring service, every fine detail carried out to the letter. Words can't express how grateful we are for the care and compassion we received. Huge thanks to all the staff who made a difficult time easier for myself and my family.

I would highly recommend Lord-Brown & Harty. Their offices are welcoming. They even allow pets showing the real thought and care they offer, along with their professional service. This new business and fresh approach, along with their many years of experience, is just what Llandudno needs.
