Needed a funeral director in February 23 to deal with my sister’s death and had a high recommendation of MM Broads service, although not being our closest by any means, we decided to let them handle her funeral. The service provided was excellent so when we lost our son in December we decided to use them again. Once again the service we received in handling everything necessary was impeccable and the celebrant, Andrew Bull, who they recommended was also excellent. We can’t give any less than 5 stars and would recommend them to anyone needing their services.

Having never planned or arranged a funeral I really didn't know where to begin. Staff here made the whole process super smooth and detailed every part making it easy. It didn't feel like a transaction, more like a friend helping along the way. Such kind heart people, very understanding when it came to making last minute changes. we as a family felt very supported.

This is the second time I have used M M Broad & Son, and on both occasions they have provided an excellent service.Samantha was very helpful in explaining the whole procedure. she has an excellent celebrant on her books called Sonya Storm. Between us we manage to produce a service plan and the Order of Service. On the day of the cremation Samantha ensure the whole procedure went well in a professional and respectful manner.I was very please how it all turn out.I would also like to point out that; in going to there office 50 or 6 times I was accompanied by my Cocker Spaniel puppy . Samantha was very understanding and tolerant and caring of him.I have no hesitation in recommending MM Board & Sons Funeral Directors. Gordon Leloup

Unfortunately I needed a funeral director's services twice this year. Having never been in this situation before, on the the first occasion a close friend recommended that I should use MM Broad. So i got in contact. MM Broad guided me through all the various required steps, and at each step advised of what decisions I had to make, and the appropriate options available.Although the options had different cost implications, at no time was I put through any heavy-handed sales pressure. It was the same on the second occasion I engaged their services. The logistics of preparing for each of the services were handled unobtrusively. Between the first and second events, there was a change in the company's representative, but there no change in the quality of the service provision. At the actual funeral services, the celebrants conducting the events were also different people. Again, although styles changed, both managed to provide a similar, intimate, but respectfully formal experience. My one and only criticism is not with MM Broad themselves, but with the sub-contracted webcast company. It seems unreasonable to have a month delay in providing a copy of the saved recording of the funeral, which only entailed copying the saved file (no editing, one fixed camera) from a computer to a USB storage device, and putting it in the post.My thanks again to MM Broad.

I would like to give a huge thank you to the whole team at MM Broad & Son, for helping us with organising our late Mum's funeral.Being relatively young in my twenties, this was the first time I've ever had to deal with organising a funeral, and I had absolutely no idea what to expect. We were initially going to go ahead with a national funeral director, but after a lack of response from our closest branch, and having seen a majority of negative customer reviews, I'm glad I made the decision to look for a local funeral director.I decided to carefully search for local funeral directors in Barnet, and I saw the really good reviews for MM Broad. I loved the fact that they said you could call them any time, which shows they value good customer service. From the start when we first called on a Sunday morning, we got a call back instantly from Samantha acknowledging our voicemail, and we arranged the first initial appointment within a week. What I really respect about MM Broad is the transparency of their fees and services on their website. From their website we managed to create our own tailored quote, which broke down everything from the burial fees, to the type of coffin to choose, to transport to the cemetery to flowers for the hearse. This meant we knew exactly what to expect and how to plan within our budget, and this helped us throughout our first meeting.Samantha and Yaren were so kind, friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. They kept us updated, allowed us to visit our Mum as many times as we liked, and on the day of my Mum's burial, the whole team helped everything to run smoothly which was a blessing.Thank you so much to all of you for making what's been one of the most traumatic times in my life, much easier :).Without a doubt, I would highly recommend MM Broad & Sons in helping with your funeral to anyone in Barnet and beyond.
