From the moment we made contact upon the passing of my Father through to the completion of the ceremony the team at M Rushton and in particular Michael guided us through the process to ensure we could have the most fitting funeral possible.Nothing was too much trouble for the team. Their sincerity, pragmatism, kindness and experience throughout means I would have no hesitation recommending them.

My sister and I can highly recommend M. Rushton Funeral Directors. They recently arranged the funeral of our dear mother, Dorothy. On arrival, Lee dealt with us in a helpful manner, going through the options we could choose. Later, as we refined the arrangements before the day Sasha was very supportive of my sister's needs and in the creation of the order of service. On the day the whole team at Rushtons were exemplary in their manner from start to finish. We are very grateful in how they cared for our mother from when we engaged them to their service after the event.Thank you.

We recently lost my husband, John, after a long and difficult illness; we knew that we didn't want a traditional funeral, but a simple 'direct' cremation followed by our own non-religious 'service' to celebrate John's life with music, memories and photos, away from the formality and strict time constraints of a 'normal' cremation service. From our first contact with Sasha, we felt we were in good hands; I had never organised any sort of funeral before, let alone something out of the ordinary. With empathy and respect, Sasha offered guidance around how we could achieve what we wanted, perfectly understanding our requirements and aims. Lee was very kind, guiding us through the practical stages with reassurance and empathy, and offering ideas as to how we could be involved at home, even though not attending the cremation itself. As a family, we felt that John was looked after, from the moment he was taken into Rushton's care, by Lee and Chris, which was a huge comfort after caring for him at home. We, too, felt looked after and supported at a very difficult time. Our experience with Rushton's has been excellent, and we highly recommend their services. If you are looking for help planning a non-traditional funeral, they can provide that with respect and care.
