Pinks Funeral Directors

As my Brother Chris died suddenly, after a short illness, I was in Ireland so his very good friend Paddy in Kenley started to organise the funeral Mass etc with Karen and her staff in Pinks funeral home, Caterham, until my return to Kenley. Every detail was taken into consideration, and while it was a very sad time Karen made it a little easier for us. She had lots of paperwork to have in place for my brothers return to Ireland. Much more than I could have thought was necessary. However it was all handled very professionally and with compassion which meant so much to me and for my dear departed brother ❤️ My sincere thanks.

Pinks looked after the funeral for my Mum and the compassion and care from walking through their doors was 5*. They helped me every step of the way and listened to Mums wishes and made it all happen even down to Walkers Ready Salted Crisps … thank you Darren. Mairead and Lorraine were so supportive and made a very difficult time a little bit easier. Thank you so much.

An outstanding service from Pinks. Having never been through anything like this before, I needed support and guidance with every step—from registering my husband, Charlies, death to choosing the right person to lead the ceremony. Lorraine was my main point of contact, and she was simply exceptional. Kind, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable, she kept me informed throughout and always made sure I was coping. Her guidance at every stage was a true comfort. The day before the funeral, Darren called me to go through how the day would unfold. He was both kind and professional, taking note of everything I wanted and ensuring that every detail went exactly to plan. On the day itself, he was a calm, reassuring presence—constantly keeping an eye on everything and updating me as needed. At such a sad and traumatic time, his support was something I didn’t know I would need but came to appreciate more than I can express. I’m sure Darren will always remember us for our unique exit music—Hooky Street—a little smile in the sadness. I just want to thank the whole team—every person involved made a truly heartbreaking day more manageable. Thank you.

Pinks at Hamsey Green were very good. As a family this was the second time that we used their services within a year. We didn't hesitate in using them again. All the staff that we came into contact with were very professional and supportive. It was probably slightly easier for us this time as we had a better understanding of what we needed to do. But the support we received was not diminished in any way. I'd particularly like to thank Lorraine for her help beforehand and Darren for his support on the day. It was the little touches that made the most impact. For instance, Darren found out about the colours of the flowers we had on the coffin and offered to wear a tie that matched. Others in the chaple may not have noticed: but we did and it goes a long way. Thank you.

For the funeral of my Dad, Russell Knox Pinks Funeral Directors at Hamsey Green Warlingham were incredible and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I have arranged funerals in the past using other funeral directors, but they don’t touch the service we received at Pinks. Their personal touch and respect were fantastic and they went over and above to make sure that we were able to achieve what was a memorable day. They worked closely with us to get to know us as a family and I felt like I could contact them as much I needed to. Lorraine and the team were just brilliant and they made what was a very difficult and sensitive time that much easier.
