This was my first experience with arranging a funeral and I found the staff very supportive and helpful in what was an extremely challenging situation. They were understanding and supportive from the very beginning and I was very grateful and impressed with their willingness to help. I was guided through the process and all the options. I am very happy and that I chose Rowlands Brothers to represent us at this time of grieving.

Jan was utterly brilliant. From the moment I walked into Rowland Brothers in Purley the day after my Dad passed away, I was met with sympathy and personal service. Jan was so kind and considerate and patient and on the day was amazing at getting us there and looking after us. Cant recommend them highly enough.

From the moment I contacted Rowland Brothers to ask them to arrange the funeral of my aunt I found them to be compassionate professional and patient. Nothing was too much bother for them. Both Jan and Simon in the Purley office were perfect communicators and handled the whole process of dealing with the crematorium, the florists and the vicar perfectly. I could not have wished for a better service for my aunt and would recommend Rowland Brothers to anybody requiring the services of a funeral director in the Purley area.

Rowland Brothers in Purley have supported my family with the funeral for my Dad and more recently with my Mum. During a time of devastation and heartbreak, they have taken care of everything and have shown compassion, support and empathy throughout all communications. They have kept me up to date and everything to date has run smoothly. I would recommend Rowland Brothers to others for making funeral arrangements.

The recent funeral arranged for my friend and companion was handled with dignity, compassion and quiet professionalism by Jan and the staff at Rowlands, Purley. Everything on the day ran smoothly. Although one of the floral sprays differed in colour from that ordered, the flowers were all very fresh and beautifully presented. I found the inclusion of a framed picture of my friend in the funeral cortege very moving and was touched to be handed the picture together with a memory box at the end of the service. My grateful thanks to Jan and her colleagues.
