My family had a sudden death. Elaine Gilchrist at Their Sighthill office attended to our ever changing needs throughout this very sad process for our family. From the first contact, her service was excellent and which was conducted in a quiet calm manner. We were assured at every step of the way, flowers arranged for us, music, video and many personal touches set out on tables for everyone to see. On arrival to follow the hearse we were warmly greeted by Phillip, a Director fromThe company at Forrester office. He guided me all the way to the end of our service by taking my arm and quietly taking me through the final process. I would certainly use them again in need. Very professional staff.

What usually happens after arranging a funeral

Most families arrange the funeral first. Dealing with the estate often comes next — something many people don't realise at the time.

There's nothing you need to do right now. A quick check can help you understand what to expect later.

  • Banks ask for paperwork
  • Property is involved
