Losing someone you love is the most painful experience imaginable, and when my beloved brother-in-law passed away, the world felt like it had crumbled. But in the middle of that heartbreak, Serenity Funeral Home became a pillar of strength, comfort, and compassion for my sister and the family. From the very first phone call, my sister was met with such warmth and understanding. Scott & Katy treated her with the utmost care, dignity, and respect. They were not just professional; they were genuinely kind human beings who cared deeply about what she was going through. They looked after my brother-in-law with so much love and reverence. It gave us such comfort knowing he was in the hands of people who truly valued and respected him. The attention to detail, the thoughtfulness in every step, and the calm, gentle way they guided my sister through every decision, we will never forget it. But what stood out most was how they supported my sister. She was completely devastated, and Serenity held her through every moment. Whether it was a comforting word, a quiet presence, or just being there when she needed someone—they showed such deep compassion that it honestly felt like they were part of our family. The funeral itself was absolutely beautiful—dignified, meaningful, and filled with love. Everything was done with such grace. It was a true reflection of the man she loved so much. To say Serenity went above and beyond doesn’t even begin to cover it. Katy & Scott are exceptional at what they do, but more importantly, they are extraordinary people. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being there in the worst time of our lives and for helping us say goodbye in the most beautiful way possible. You are a true blessing.

Katy and Scott make what is an extremely difficult time a little easier by taking all of the stress of planning a funeral out of our hands. We decided on a burial for our infant daughter and Katy and Scott made every step simple, and as tailored to our needs and quirky personalities, along with their suggested celebrant Sophie, who was a perfect choice for a little girl's funeral. Scott was great at knowing what to say and how to break the ice when the tension was a bit much, and Katy looked after our baby like any auntie would, with so much love and care as if she were still with us. We will be forever grateful for Serenity and will be recommending them to anyone who has lost a loved one.

I honestly can not thank Serenity Funeral Services enough. Faced with a profoundly untimely and challenging loss, where everything felt like it was happening at an impossible pace, Katy and Scott were an invaluable source of support and expertise. Their excellent attention to detail, clearly apparent from a wealth of experience, was evident in everything they did. They were incredibly helpful and thoughtful, guiding us as a family through every difficult step. Katy and Scott managed to tailor a bespoke service for us that was so profoundly fitting for the very special person we lost, perfectly capturing the spirit and character of our loved one. Their expertise made a world of difference, guiding us during such a raw and emotional time. Highly recommended.

Katy and Scott are an amazing pairing, they helped with all aspects of our mums funerals from the coffin to the flowers and everything else in between. They listened to what my sister and I wanted for our mum and nothing was too much trouble. We were kept informed at every stage of the process even on the day before they called to make sure that we were ok and went through the ceremony from start to finish so we knew what to expect. Brilliant service at what is a hard time for all of us

So yesterday (6th February 2025) marked the day that we said goodbye to my beautiful Partner Brit, who sadly passed away aged 25. it was the most perfect and beautiful funeral that we could’ve ever wished for, All thanks to Scott and Katy. These two are truly the very best at what they do, and on top of that, are the kindest and most caring people around. The first time we went to meet Scott and Katy after choosing Serenity, we were extremely nervous and scared about what laid ahead. But Scott & Katy instantly made us feel calm, relaxed and comfortable and navigated us perfectly through the first few steps of funeral planning. If your wanting to perfectly capture the person your loved one was and celebrate there life to the fullest, Serenity is the place to go! For my Partner we were able to have customised order of service books, a personalised engraved coffin and so much more so that we could make sure her funeral was unique and really showcased who she was. The freedom you have to do whatever you want to do for your loved ones funeral is second to none with these guys, and what makes things even better is that they take care of it all so that you don’t have the extra stress at such an already difficult time. The best thing for me when having Scott and Katy help us out is that it truly feels that you and your loved ones are truly Scott and Katy’s number one priority. The passion they have for what they do oozes out of them, and honestly you’d be a fool to choose anyone else. Thank you again Scott & Katy we are forever grateful for everything you guys have done for us
