First Class service at such a sad time with my mother’s passing. Beth and Hannah are the best and John leading the day of Mums funeral. She had the best send off and all she would have wanted. Thank you Shires for making a sad time a time of reflection and carrying me through all I had to do. Being patient and kind. Can’t thank you all enough.

What can I say. Hannah is the most amazing person , so calm so genuinely caring and empathetic. She really is and put all my daughters and sons and myself at total ease. Her professional approach yet sympathetic and understanding was really unexpected and a real tribute to my wife Sandra. Nothing was too much and along with Beth and John they answered all our questions and requests carried out 💯. Losing my wife of 43 years was in itself so difficult but the fantastic service from Shire’s made it all a little more bearable. This is the second time we have used Shires and wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future. To find people in a company of any sort that become friends is a rarity in this day and age but the team at Shires are that. Well done and thank you Hannah and the team Roger & Family x

I cannot praise enough the team at The Shires in Luton who helped my family for the funeral of our mother. Beth and Hannah showed us great care, compassion, consideration and thoughtfulness throughout the time of preparation for the funeral, giving us helpful advice for decisions to be made and always being ready to answer any questions we had. Visits to see Mum were accommodated generously and made so easy. On the day of the funeral, John led his team with great professionalism and at the same time with obvious kindness towards us all. We felt they took care of Mum and of us all. As a family, we highly recommend The Shires. Many thanks to you all 🙏

Shires in Luton was absolutely fantastic with dealing with my father’s funeral. They were really supportive during the preparation especially as we had gone with a funeral company who had caused us some stress prior and then found Shires. They were extremely quick at sorting with other venues (church, the vale etc). Beth and Hannah were both so lovely to me and were so respectful about the situation. Overall, a fantastic service and would not go with anyone else but this company in the future.

Excellent management. Both professional and attentive, going the extra mile to ensure all the arrangements were as planned. We were delighted with all aspects of the funeral and couldn't of wished for a better send off. A massive thank you to all the staff at Shires especially Beth and Hannah and we would recommend your services to anyone.
