Shires handled the funeral arrangements for my wife in an exemplary professional manner. They were sensitive and helpful, arranged everything we asked for, were very communicative, and were aware of cost considerations.

We didn't want a conventional day for our father, and Shires were totally brilliant and open to our slightly mad ideas! Really accomodating. Lisa, Donna and Sally helped us through the process and on the day everything worked like clockwork. Dad would have been thrilled with our unconventional plans, and the way the day progressed. Thanks to everyone, would highly recommend Shires as a company.

Mum sadly passed away a year ago, her funeral plan was with Shires, Lisa and the team at Shires made the process as painless as they possibly could. Lisa was amazing, made a cuppa when my sister and I went in to drop some things off, chatted with us about mum but also asked how we, Dad and the family were doing. We were never rushed or made to feel anything was too much trouble. Today on the 1st anniversary of mum passing we recieved a card❤️. Shires really are a caring, genuine team of people, a special mention goes to Lisa who is a caring and compassionate person and for all her help. If we lived local we would use Shires without any hesitation for ourselves.

We have always used Shires since one or two higher profile companies have shown little in the way of real caring or empathy. Shires are consistently excellent at communication, admin and delivery in an otherwise ever stressful time. We would strongly recommend them & especially Lisa in Letchworth with whom we have sadly had to work 4 times recently. Her team on the day are always respectful, helpful & ready for anything! Thank you all at Shires.

All the team at Shires were really helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were very patient and caring allowing us plenty of time to make the right choices without any pressure. At a very difficult time this was much appreciated. Thank you again, for looking after Dad with such care and dignity and for keeping us informed every step of the way.
