Established in 1865 when John Stoneman and his family moved to Surrey from South Devon, the business has been serving local communities across Reigate, Godstone, Tadworth, Dorking, and Crawley Down for over 160 years. Their head office remains in Redhill, reflecting the company's deep roots in the community.
The business is currently led by managing director Chris Stoneman, who represents the fifth generation of the family. His daughters Mollie and Maisie, and nephew William, represent the sixth generation and all serve as company directors, ensuring the family's personal involvement continues at every level of the business.
