The Framlingham branch was established in 2024 when Susan Whymark was honoured to purchase Moore Bros Funeral Directors, a family-run funeral service with five generations of history, further extending the company's commitment to serving bereaved families in Suffolk.
Founded by Susan Whymark in 2004, the business has grown from its original home in Eye, Suffolk, to encompass multiple branches across the region. Susan became a funeral director in 1996 and gained her National Association of Funeral Directors diploma in 1998. The company remains a trusted, small, independent, and family-run business, free from the constraints of larger corporate or group-owned businesses in the profession.
As a fully accredited member of both the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and SAIF, Susan Whymark Funeral Service adheres to a strict code of conduct, offering a calm, sensitive, and personal service.
