"Bonnie was absolutely amazing in helping us navigate through everything — the layout of the order of service, the flowers — and showed so much compassion. Nothing was too much trouble. Andy carried out the Eulogy and was amazing, getting Mum involved during the service."
— Sarah De La Haye (about Bonnie, Andy)
"Andy got it 'just right' in ensuring that it was a true reflection of who he was and the life he lived. So compassionate and helpful across the whole process — they supported us and made sure they did everything they could to ensure we gave our Dad a proper send off."
— Lindsay Crennell (about Andy)
"They genuinely went above and beyond to meet our wants and needs at such a difficult time. Nothing was too much to ask — these people genuinely care for you in such an awful time of your life. We will be forever grateful for what they have done for us."
— Megan Steer
"Andy done a beautiful service and there were tears but also a lot of laughs and smiles which we wanted. The love they put into making my loved ones final journey and in the chapel of rest was more than I could've asked for."
— Jenna Stephen (about Andy, Bonnie)
"Andy and Bonnie — what a gem Bonnie is — equally caring, organised, any question is always answered promptly and things dealt with 'with a smile'. A real team effort — they just all gently take your hand and explain, arrange and do what needs to be done."
— Julie Rogers (about Andy, Bonnie)
"Bonnie went above and beyond to give him and us exactly what he had requested... She wanted to get to know him and us and listened. She also rang us when she said she would, and kept us informed every step until his safe return to us after the cremation. I have The Searson Family Funeral Services written in my will when my time comes."
— Paula Critchett (about Bonnie)

I first heard about The Searson Family Funeral Service (shorter name then Im sure) years ago. I worked with someone within a nursing environment and she had used them ; one time we were working a night shift together she started talking about the funeral directors she had used ? for one of her parents. She looked up to me and said, 'if you remember nothing else, WHEN your family needs a funeral director - remember the name "Searsons" ' ! I always DID remember their name ! ; when my nan died in 2012, I said to my mum 'can we go with Searsons' ? The service that Andy and Debbie did for my nan was SO special at Milton cemetery. They had even arranged 🎈 balloons that people were given to ALL be released together when we were all stood by my nan's grave (not used now - correctly so). I remember, how touched me and my mum had been - that they had arranged that. Andy described my nan in such a caring and lovely way - I was blown away I must admit at the tribute to my nan's life. Everytime my mum spoke to Debbie about arrangements - Debbie was always very professional and spoke in such a caring way. Unfortunately in January 2026 my dad sadly died and I was in no doubt who we would use again - 'The Searson Family Funeral Service' ! What a special send off they ALL gave my dad❤️ I would mark notes for Andy about my dad's life with a * that were either funny or little snips of information my mum had told me - that I knew everyone at the funeral service would be interested to hear ! 🤭 My mum would say often 'oh - people won't want to hear about that' and I knew that they would ! 🤔🤭 Andy - bless him - said them ALL - all of my little bits of info marked with a * ! 🤭 I also knew it would go some way towards helping Andy understand the kind of man my dad was. Andy summed it all up - so beautifully, speaking with real warmth and humour. The way family photos are presented within the Order of Service book is a real work of art. The music played at the service along with a slideshow of colour/old photos (presented so well - quality wise) to your chosen music all adds to giving your loved one a 'special send off'❤️ Andy and Bonnie - (what a gem Bonnie is) equally caring, organised - any question is always answered promptly and things dealt with - 'with a smile' ! 👍 A real team effort - lovely sons who each do their part - they just all - gently take your hand (not literally) and explain, arrange and do what needs to be done ! 🌈

We have used searsons for several members of our family and would never go anywhere else. They dont just look after your deceased loved one with a great deal of care and dignity, they are so sympathetic and easy to deal with at a very difficult time and look after all the family. They think of every detail and guide you through every step of the process and make sure that every service is personal and meaningful to the family. All this is done at a very reasonable cost but no corners are cut to achieve this. I cannot recommend them highly enough to make a difficult time easier to deal with due to their professionalism and abundance of empathy with grieving families.

My family and I had no idea where to even begin with organising my Dad funeral he did not leave a Will. Bonnie was absolutely amazing in helping us navigate through everything that we needed to think of to the layout of the order of service to the flowers and showed so much compassion, Nothing was too much trouble. Andy carried out the Eulogy and he was amazing getting Mum involved during the service. All of our Family said what a lovely service and they would love to have Andy when their time came. Added a photo of the beautiful flowers which were made by the flower shop at the front of Searsons. We highly recommend them.

The Searson’s have looked after our loved ones on a few occasions. Each time was personal to the individual who had passed, and they genuinely went above and beyond to meet our wants and needs at such a difficult time. All members of the team played such a significant part in our loved one’s final journeys. Nothing was too much to ask, these people genuinely care for you in such an awful time of your life. My father and I booked appointments to see our family members and it was clear they were being well looked after. We never felt rushed to leave, and the setting was comforting in what was an awful time. We will be forever grateful for what they have done for us and I would recommend them to everyone. As a family we will continue to use them in our time of need.

From our initial interaction, Bonnie & her team proved to be incredibly helpful and well-informed regarding our needs for my mum. Bonnie consistently offered her assistance, displaying a compassionate and supportive approach. The convenience of having all arrangements handled in one location was particularly appreciated, including the printing of the Service booklet and the exquisite coffin spray, which was a testament to the florist's skill. While there were a few minor challenges on the day of the funeral, these did not detract from the overall quality of the service provided for my mum, and everyone remarked on how beautiful it was. Thank You 🫶🏻
