The Searson Family Funeral Service is a true family business, we are who we say we are, and you know who you are dealing with. A family business dedicated to providing exceptional service through our wealth of experience and natural desire to exceed in everything we do.
"They genuinely went above and beyond to meet our wants and needs at such a difficult time. My father and I booked appointments to see our family members and it was clear they were being well looked after. We never felt rushed to leave, and the setting was comforting in what was an awful time."
— Megan Steer
"She looked up to me and said, 'if you remember nothing else, WHEN your family needs a funeral director - remember the name Searsons'. I always DID remember their name — and when my dad sadly died in January 2026, I was in no doubt who we would use again."
— Julie Rogers (about Andy, Bonnie, Debbie)
"The love they put into making my loved ones final journey and in the chapel of rest was more than I could've asked for. Andy done a beautiful service and there were tears but also a lot of laughs and smiles which we wanted."
— Jenna Stephen (about Bonnie, Andy)
"Bonnie went above and beyond to give him and us exactly what he had requested without the financial add-ons. She wanted to get to know him and us and listened. I have The Searson Family Funeral Services written in my will when my time comes."
— Paula Critchett (about Bonnie)
"They showed genuine compassion, understanding, and kindness from the very beginning, and went above and beyond to support us when we needed it most. In particular, we are so grateful for the financial help they provided, which took a huge weight off our shoulders and allowed us to focus on saying goodbye to our mum."
— lee priestley
"Bonnie is nothing short of amazing, she held my hand the whole way through and pieced together the best send off for my mum. Andy conducted the service again, the best. Very professional but also just down to earth people who really care about your loved one and this journey."

We recently lost our mum, and during an already incredibly difficult time, we were faced with the added stress of her funeral plan provider going into administration. Searson Family Funeral Service were absolutely amazing throughout. They showed genuine compassion, understanding, and kindness from the very beginning, and went above and beyond to support us when we needed it most. In particular, we are so grateful for the financial help they provided, which took a huge weight off our shoulders and allowed us to focus on saying goodbye to our mum. Everything on the day of the funeral was handled with dignity, care, and professionalism. The service was beautiful and truly reflected our mum’s life. We cannot thank Searson Family Funeral Service enough for their support, generosity, and compassion. We would highly recommend them to anyone going through such a difficult time.

From our first point of enquiry, we were looked after beautifully by all at Searsons. I mostly met with Bonnie, Andy & Alfie. They were so kind and caring when looking after our dad/brother, as well as afterwards. They showed so much care and respect in such an upsetting time, providing us with comfort and compassion. Their attention to detail, patience and guidance was perfect in every step of the way. We are so grateful to them and would highly recommend them to anyone who need their services.

I cannot recommend Searsons enough. I unfortunately lost my mum in February 2026 to which she stayed in Searsons care. For such a difficult process they made this chapter peaceful and put together an amazing service. Bonnie is nothing short of amazing, she held my hand the whole way through and pieced together the best send off for my mum. Andy conducted the service again, the best. Very professional but also just down to earth people who really care about your loved one and this journey. Thankyou all

I first heard about The Searson Family Funeral Service (shorter name then Im sure) years ago. I worked with someone within a nursing environment and she had used them ; one time we were working a night shift together she started talking about the funeral directors she had used ? for one of her parents. She looked up to me and said, 'if you remember nothing else, WHEN your family needs a funeral director - remember the name "Searsons" ' ! I always DID remember their name ! ; when my nan died in 2012, I said to my mum 'can we go with Searsons' ? The service that Andy and Debbie did for my nan was SO special at Milton cemetery. They had even arranged 🎈 balloons that people were given to ALL be released together when we were all stood by my nan's grave (not used now - correctly so). I remember, how touched me and my mum had been - that they had arranged that. Andy described my nan in such a caring and lovely way - I was blown away I must admit at the tribute to my nan's life. Everytime my mum spoke to Debbie about arrangements - Debbie was always very professional and spoke in such a caring way. Unfortunately in January 2026 my dad sadly died and I was in no doubt who we would use again - 'The Searson Family Funeral Service' ! What a special send off they ALL gave my dad❤️ I would mark notes for Andy about my dad's life with a * that were either funny or little snips of information my mum had told me - that I knew everyone at the funeral service would be interested to hear ! 🤭 My mum would say often 'oh - people won't want to hear about that' and I knew that they would ! 🤔🤭 Andy - bless him - said them ALL - all of my little bits of info marked with a * ! 🤭 I also knew it would go some way towards helping Andy understand the kind of man my dad was. Andy summed it all up - so beautifully, speaking with real warmth and humour. The way family photos are presented within the Order of Service book is a real work of art. The music played at the service along with a slideshow of colour/old photos (presented so well - quality wise) to your chosen music all adds to giving your loved one a 'special send off'❤️ Andy and Bonnie - (what a gem Bonnie is) equally caring, organised - any question is always answered promptly and things dealt with - 'with a smile' ! 👍 A real team effort - lovely sons who each do their part - they just all - gently take your hand (not literally) and explain, arrange and do what needs to be done ! 🌈

We have used searsons for several members of our family and would never go anywhere else. They dont just look after your deceased loved one with a great deal of care and dignity, they are so sympathetic and easy to deal with at a very difficult time and look after all the family. They think of every detail and guide you through every step of the process and make sure that every service is personal and meaningful to the family. All this is done at a very reasonable cost but no corners are cut to achieve this. I cannot recommend them highly enough to make a difficult time easier to deal with due to their professionalism and abundance of empathy with grieving families.
