The business was founded in 1991 by two experienced funeral directors, Geoffrey Thorne and David Leggett, who shared a commitment to total professionalism and placing clients as their absolute priority. David Leggett had been a funeral director in Farnham for many years before the partnership was formed, bringing deep local knowledge and expertise to the area.
The Farnham branch, located at 8-10 The Street, Wrecclesham, offers a full range of funeral services including cremations, burials, green and woodland funerals, unattended cremations, and repatriation. The dedicated team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and can meet families at the funeral home or arrange a home visit for those who prefer it.
As part of the Funeral Partners network, Thorne-Leggett combines local heritage with professional support, ensuring every funeral is tailored to reflect the unique life of each loved one. They also offer prepaid funeral plans through Choice, helping families plan ahead with confidence. The branch is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD).
