"I used Unique Funerals in July 2022 to bury my nana & again in July 2023 to cremate my brother. Nothing is too much trouble, even in difficult family circumstances. We even had a specialised coffin made for my brother. It was outstanding! Thank you so much for making what has been an extremely difficult time go with as much ease as possible."
— abby openshaw (about Paul)
"They have the perfect mix of being professional, caring, understanding, accommodating and providing an extra special personal touch I haven't encountered in a funeral director's before. To say they surpassed all expectations would be a massive understatement. Unique by name, unique by nature."
— Amanda Broadhurst (about Paul)
"I'm honoured my dad spent his days resting with them. I felt peace knowing he was in Paul's care, they really did take good care of him. Stuart really takes the time to sit with you and get to know your loved one and this makes for a beautiful and true service. I know my dad would be so proud and grateful of the service you helped us give him."
— Rebecca R (about Paul)
"We could not have functioned without their unwavering patience and kindness & the empathy shown went above & beyond anything we expected. This was an extremely tragic & difficult time for us & Paul & his team made it seamless with step by step in what we could expect of the process. No words really could thank them enough."
— Julie Roberts (about Paul)
"From the very first telephone contact I had with Paul Miller, I felt a huge sigh of relief, knowing that my late husband would finally be in very safe, competent, and caring hands. On the day of the funeral itself, we felt held and guided every step of the way, not just because it was their job but because we knew they cared. There aren't enough stars to award Unique Funerals."
— Philip McNally (about Paul Miller)
"From the first conversation with Paul I felt comfortable. He is a genuine gentleman. Paul was like a family member. Unbelievably understanding, sympathetic, empathetic and all the other words you would wish someone to be when you lose a loved one. I will never forget Paul. I will actually always be in touch because he is a very unique and special man."

I am not sure I have the correct words, but i will try. Someone recommended Unique Funerals to me as I lost my Dad some weeks ago. I blindly just went with their recommendation as I had no idea where to start and so much was going on with some very challenging family members adding to the pain. From the first conversation with Paul I felt comfortable. He is a genuine gentleman. He explained everything to me and was so patient with me and my Fiancée. Paul was like a family member. Unbelievably understanding, sympathetic, empathetic and all the other words you would wish someone to be when you lose a loved one. Paul spent lots of time with us listening and giving us words of pure wisdom. From the day we walked in that door until the funeral and even until today, Paul and his team have certainly been unique. Unique in the fact that they really do care and have all the time in the world to make sure the day is perfect and you are comfortable with everything. I will never forget Paul. I will actually always be in touch because he is a very unique and special man. Thank you to you all. Adam & Yvonne x

My husband passed away abroad, and I initially had to deal with undertakers in a foreign country where attitudes toward death and the deceased are quite different. From the very first telephone contact I had with Paul Miller, I felt a huge sigh of relief, knowing that my late husband would finally be in very safe, competent, and caring hands, and that he would be taken good care of and treated with the respect he deserved. That same compassion and care were extended to me and my family, not only by Paul but by all staff at Unique Funeral, at what was the most difficult time of our lives. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for Paul and his team. I knew I could call them day or night. On the day of the funeral itself, we felt held and guided every step of the way, not just because it was their job but because we knew they cared. There aren’t enough stars to award Unique Funerals, so I’ll have to go with five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. My sincere thanks to Paul and his team

Paul & the team are incredible! I used Unique Funerals in July 2022 to bury my nana & again in July 2023 to cremate my brother. They offer an exceptional, compassionate and very understanding service. Nothing is too much trouble, even in difficult family circumstances. The care of each of my family members was second to none. We even had a specilaised coffin made for my brother. It was outstanding! I've recommended them to friends as a 5⭐️ service and will continue to do so. Thank you so much for making what has been an extremely difficult time go with as much ease as possible!

We used Unique Funerals following the death of my son & my husbands son recently. Paul & Nickie we’re an absolute pleasure to work with in finally laying our sons to rest. We could not have functioned without their unwavering patience and kindness & the empathy shown went above & beyond anything we expected. This was an extremely tragic & difficult time for us & Paul & his team made it seamless with step by step in what we could expect of the process. No words really could thank them enough. I would thoroughly recommend if you want a stress free experience following the passing of a loved one look no further than Paul & his lovely team.

We had the funeral of our friend Graham Croudace on 27th October 2022 from the moment he died he was treated with the upmost dignity. We went to see him and he looked at peace. Thank you Paul you were fantastic. May I also remark on Stuart Preston the Celebrant who was absolutely fantastic it was like he had known him for years. We had a quirky funeral and every need was catered for.Thank you to Paul and his team for their excellent work.
