Now in its fifth generation of family management, the business is led by Chris Matthews, who has worked alongside the family since the age of 16 and took the lead when his father Mike became ill. He is supported by Muriel, Alison, and Sarah, ensuring a warm and personal approach to every family they serve.
W C Matthews and Son Ltd offers a comprehensive 24-hour confidential service, providing sympathetic, sensitive, and dignified care. Their services include liaison with hospitals and doctors, registration of death, private chapel of rest, hearse and limousines, environmentally friendly and bespoke coffins, flowers, catering, pre-payment funeral plans, and memorial and grave maintenance.
