Anita & her team at WF Groombridge arranged the funeral of my twin brother, Paul. This was the saddest of times for the whole family & I was dreading making these arrangements and the day itself. From the moment I met Anita she put me at ease & dealt with all the arrangements in a professional & caring manner. We received first class service from start to finish. Melonie, the funeral director, ensured the funeral ran exceptionally smoothly in these Covid times.I can't thank them enough for all they did for Paul and the family. I can only highly recommend them to anyone who is going through what we have been through.

I am so thankful to Anita and her wonderful colleagues at WF Groombridge. Obviously if you’re looking at these reviews you are in a horrible situation and I’m so sorry. I lost my mother, who was my only immediate family member, and I was feeling very vulnerable and scared trying to plan the funeral. Anita was so kind and supportive and they made everything easy. They somehow managed to make this awful experience actually okay, they really couldn’t have done more for me. The funeral was beautiful and very well organised even in the middle of COVID. Everything went totally smoothly and there was nothing extra for me to worry about, I could just focus on getting through it and starting to grieve. I can’t recommend them highly enough and will always be grateful for their help.

With the restrictions of attendance due to Covid-19 we knew this funeral was going to be tough but Anita and Sally handled it perfectly and on the day the Director Lorraine and her bearers were perfect. Joan's funeral was handled with professionalism and care even though it was a very small event. Could not ask for more.

For years we had put down the name of a funeral director on our mother’s care plan, but when it came to that time, it really, really mattered to us who would take care of the final stages, it had to be personal and as perfect as could be achieved. We did our research and went and talked to local funeral directors and when we met Anita, we knew WF Groombridge would be our choice and we were not disappointed. Anita had the perfect balance between empathy, being professional (which really helps get you through the process), listening to all the details that we wanted and leading us gently through this difficult time. Communication at all stages was clear and timely, just excellent. Recommendations for other services such as the celebrant, flowers etc all delivered to the same high standard. This all meant on the day we had no stress or worry and could just focus on celebrating the beautiful life of our loved one.
