"From the first phone call informing them of my dad's death, to dropping us back at home after the funeral, everything was handled with utmost respect and dignity for my dad and our family. Andy was an absolute gentleman. Thank you Dodgsons, and especially Andy."
— jill hathaway (about Andy)
"All my requests and concerns were addressed with diligence and kindness. As a result the whole funeral was just as I wanted it to be. The whole family and our friends would like me to thank you all."
— Katie Gaunt (about Mikela)
"From start to finish Toni was exceptional. Was available all the time and genuinely made every effort to ensure the day went smoothly. All the staff were professional and compassionate in every way and went over and above to ensure that all our family's cultural and spiritual needs were catered for. We were able to send our mother without any worry or stress. Forever grateful to you all."
— Sue N (about Toni)
"Sadly, we've had to use WM Dodgson 3 times in recent years for my father in law and my own mum and dad. Hannah and Sinead are the most amazing ladies and care so much for their clients. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts."
— Andrew Ramsden (about Hannah and Sinead)
"Both Helen and Kirsty went above and beyond to ensure the actual funeral day went off without a hitch. Even the staff looking after my father prior to the funeral were so professional and compassionate and really seemed to care about my father and the family - we all felt he was very well looked after which was comforting during the long run up to the funeral."
— Emma Beanland (about Helen and Kirsty)
"Losing my father felt like I had lost myself and still do feel that way. But Charlotte helped me through this journey of understanding. Seeing my dad in that beautiful blue gown, still looking so handsome, made me tear up. He was looked after, cared for and treated with dignity and respect. Thank you Charlotte for everything."
— Joyce Butler (about Charlotte)

Excellent care from the day they collected my husband till the day I brought his Ashes home. Sinead was most helpful friendly and patient in every aspect of the whole procedure, arranging order of service and finding a Reverend to perform the proceedings, on the day the drivers were excellent and Dee was very helpful and kind, nothing was too much trouble, even two weeks after the funeral, she kindly dealt with my husbands ashes, and they were transferred into the urn that I had bought, A good service in every way, we had a choice funeral plan which also helped when we set it up with them a few years ago, I would recommend this funeral director to anyone for a smooth arrangement to the final ending….

Could not fault Quinns at all, from when we met Michelle for the first time she was very pleasant and warm, she talked us through all aspects of the funeral etc, she helped us with choosing the music and order of service, any problems and she was on end of phone to help out. Also the celebrant she picked for us David was lovely and helpful too, and the cars and drivers were very helpful also, would not hesitate to recommend Quinns for funerals.

Sadly, we've had to use WM Dodgson 3 times in recent years for my father in law and my own mum and dad. I can't recommend them highly enough. Amazing care and service from start to finish. Hannah and Sinead are the most amazing ladies and care so much for their clients. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I couldn't recommend Quinns more highly. They offered a very comprehensive and compassionate service and were very attentive. Both Michelle and Tina were excellent.

My dad was sadly taken from me on the 15/10/2025 and I will forever be heartbroken because of this .. he wasn’t just my dad , he was my best friend.. for years he told me what to do, how to plan a funeral, but even though I knew what to do I still felt like I was unsure , i chose wm Dodgson and son and went with it as it was close to my dads home .. I met a woman there by the name of Charlotte. I’d like to thank her for really helping me through this difficult time. I didn’t know how to feel or understand why my dad was taken from me .. I’ve never really lost anyone that I’m close to. Losing my father felt like I had lost myself and still do feel that way. But Charlotte helped me through this journey of understanding. Charlotte helped me with the planning of my dads cremation and I couldn’t thank her enough for everything . She truly helped me at my lowest and I say thank you. Seeing my dad, in that beautiful blue gown and still looking so handsome . Made me tear up. He was looked after, cared for and treated with dignity and respect. The service was grand. Thank you Charlotte for everything .
