We have used Emma and the team on quite a few occasions now, having had to say good bye to elderly parents over the years. The kindness shown to ourselves and the family is second to none. The care and preparation of mum was done to perfection. The respect and dignity shown to mum and the family comes from their many years of experience in the business and we have known Emma for almost 20 years. She always remembers the service she has given us in the past and speaks comfortingly with us about the past and the present. Abbie, a young woman when we first knew her is now a member of the team along with her partner. Emma, Michael, Abbie and the whole team make planning your loved one's funeral easy and stress free leaving you time to grieve. The funeral itself goes like clockwork and there is nothing to even think about other than your grief. We were all treated with utmost care and respect, kindness and compassion. Bridgewater provided an incredibly kind, professional, and compassionate service during a very difficult time for our family. Abby, in particular, was exceptional — she was so gentle, patient, and caring with my mum, and it made a huge difference to her during such an emotional period. All of the staff were lovely, including the drivers and the coffin bearers, who were respectful, friendly, and supportive throughout. They also gave myself and my brother’s friends the chance to carry the coffin too, carefully showing us what to do. We always felt in good hands. Nothing felt rushed or impersonal; everything was handled with dignity and genuine care. We are very grateful to the whole team at Bridgewater for making such a hard experience feel a little easier. We would highly recommend them.
